The French Disconnection

The real Sarah Fey-Palin was caught like a moose in the headlights yesterday by two Canadian comedians -- who duped her into thinking she was talking to French President Nicolas Sarkozy.
Sarah Palin: Click to listen!
Ms. Alaska was clueless on Montreal radio station CKOI, as the fake Sarkozy awkwardly talked about his sex life with his wife and his love for the XXX-rated "Nailin' Paylin."

76. I've travelled to Spain several times and they have FREE health care also. Do you think bad health care doesn't exist in the good ol USA? I also live on the Michigan/Ontario border. And we have Michiganders arriving in droves to our hospitals for FREE Health care. They aren't turned away in an emergency. And in my travels to Europe I've met MANY yanks who disguise themselves as Canucks. So what improvements to your quality of life does your Gov't provide you with when you pay your taxes? What bang do you get with your tax buck? And if you've really been to The Great White North you would know it's EH, not aye.

77. Zelda,

Yes Spain has "Free" health care that was the point I was making because the government decided it was more cost efficient to remove the lady's breasts, they removed both unnecessarily.

You have obviously never been to a hospital in America. In America you cannot be turned away for a hospital by law they have to treat you, even if you can't afford it. So in a since America does have free health care, the free loaders can get treatment and then not pay the bill when it comes in the mail.

You say you have met Yanks in your travels to Europe pretending to be Canadians. They must not be doing a very good job at it if you are able to figure it out.

"So what improvements to your quality of life does your Gov't provide you with when you pay your taxes?"

Government is not the solution to life's problems it is usually the cause.
My taxes do not improve my quality of life, the freedoms reserved for the people by the Constitution are what improve my quality of life. I don't need my government to provide my quality of life.

78. 76. Lol. Thanks, "Pope." Right on target.

For a writer for the New York Times, his punctuation is abysmal.

I did say I work for The New York Times Duh!

Duh...that's exactly what I said, as well as "The Pope." Lol. "I did say I work for the NY Times", New York Times writer.

Put the bong away, and go to bed.

To 78 Canuk...

He's obviously talking out of his hat. Good points, by the way.

80. T Crazy American...

Absolute bull. People are grilled on whether they have health insurance the second they hit the emergency room; those who do not are not "free loaders" as you have so despicably referred to them. The health system in his country has long been under fire for the relatively poor quality care that is given to these people. These are people who can't afford to pay the $12,000-$14,000 per year in family health care premiums. And by the way, there are hospitals that have refused treatment because the person is uninsured. What is the matter with you???

81. NObama is a tool. He'd rather have eight more years of the same than someone on the ball and obviously very intelligent. I watched a biography of McCain last night and he is a war hero yes, but not that bright. He graduated third last out of a class of 900.....he's out of touch...this is the 21st century and someone young and motivated is needed to try and pull this country out of the terrible mess the Republicans have put it in.....and that certainly won't be another Bush/McCain presidency.

82. Again what DO you pay taxes for? Yes, I've been inside an American Hospital. But my gov't paid my bill for me. Even out of country we receive free health care. And nobody has their breasts removed unnecessarily. Sometimes both breasts need to be removed even if there isn't cancer present. Family breast cancer history dictates in those cases. It's better to be safe than sorry. And the Spanish gov't will pay for this woman to have new and perky breasts that will be cancer free.
And the reason I found out they were Americans in my travels is because when I see somebody wearing a Canadian Flag pin or patch on their backpack I strike up a conversation. Go to any website for American's travelling overseas and it is recommended they wear a Canadian Pin. I myself get treated rudely until the person see's my Canadian Flag pin, and they immediately smile and say "you're Canadian not American". Also, the Spanish hate Americans because of Bush. You obviously haven't been there either.
And as far as your Constitution goes did'nt Bush destroy that?
Those free loaders you speak of are your fellow Americans. Where is your compassion for your fellow countrymen? See there's the difference between you and I, I care if somebody is suffering unnecessarily and If you really did your math you would see that you actually lose money paying your health care rates and taxes. My taxes are on average $1000 more a year than yours but I don't pay for health care or medication. No Health Care provider payments. How much do you pay in taxes and how much do you pay for your health care a year? You're really gonna hate it when Obama gets elected on Tuesday aren't ya.

83. Hey Bill

Why don't you go and drink some more of your Obama kool-aid because we are sick of hearing from you. You are an idiot and I am ashamed you are from America.

I work in a hospital emergency room and we never turn anyone away. By law we have to see them. Even if they don't have insurance. When people come into the emergency room they are taken to triage first and then an ER room. Sometimes they even see a doctor first before they are asked for their insurance information. America has the greatest healthcare in the world. We do not need national healthcare. That would be a nightmare. There is a reason why people come to America for treatments and major surguries because of the freedom to see whomever we want and pick the best doctor available.

Right. Aren't you the same guy who also claims he works for the Obama campaign? Bless you, my son.

If he's a New York Times writer, then I've got this great bridge across the lower East River that I can sell him.

86. Sarah is such a ditz! Her handlers should have screened the call. I can't believe she fell for this. It just shows how dumb she is.
I can't imagine her as a vice president. Ugh!

87. I am not a fan of Palin's. But that was mean and so lame. What a set up....you all would have fallen for it...Peace.

88. Thank you for posting. I'm glad to see someone with integrity who would rather tell the truth at all costs, and who would never mis-represent himself. A New York Times writer who works for the Obama campaign has to have a lot of courage to come out publicly (without hiding behind anonymity) and say that he or she is actually against Obama.

We'll in the same spirit of courage and honesty and integrity that you are displaying, my friend, I want to come here and let you all know that I, John McCain, am actually an Obama supporter. I've let my campaign get away from me, and it's now being run in a way that makes me sick. As the protagonist in this campaign, I'm going against everything I fought for up until the year 2000: openness with the press, avoidance of personal slurs, and standing up to the corruption within the Party Machine.

I can no longer stand what I've been doing, and therefore, I come here, to TMZ, the world-renowned home of unbiased, impeccably researched investigative political journalism, to confess that I want you all to vote for Barack Obama on November 4, because frankly, he's the better man. TMZ is the only place from which I can say this, because the Capitalist Media and Energy Conglomerates who run our country would not allow this message to get out through any of their other biased and highly controlled press outlets.

To all my fellow Americans, I say please vote for Barack Obama on November 4.

If you believe that the gentleman or lady whom I'm responding to is a New York Times writer who works on the Obama campaign, then you can be sure that I am really John McCain.

89. Zelda,

I am not Crazy American but I agree with what he says. You on the other hand are obviously an idiot and I hope you never come to America again. You can keep your crappy country's national healthcare. Someday if ever you get in a horrible accident and you lay dying in a Canadian emergency room and they are unable to save you I'm sure you will think to yourself "if only I was in America their doctors would know how to save me". I see it everyday in the ER. The amazing doctors and how they save people who are barely alive. We need to keep our healthcare the way it is. Zelda is proof of bad Canadian healthcare, you obviously went without oxygen for a while when you were born.

90. My fellow Americans,

I have finally decided to speak against my campaigns wishes. I am a terrorist lover. I can't help it I have a passion for people who like to blow things up. Once and for all I will just come out and say it " I am a socialist". I want to run this country into the ground so that I can have the government take over everything. I have no experience but let me learn on the job. So if this sounds good to you please vote for me on election day. Heck even I know Mccain is the better man. Please vote for me anyway.

Thank You and Goodnight.
