Whitesnake got a raw deal being lumped in with the rest of the hair metal bands. In reality, they had a sound that was more classic than most hair metal and Coverdale had possibly the most pure, unique and solid voices in 80s rock. These guys should be considered among the "classics," not "just another hair band from the 80s."
Whenever I hear Whitesnake (or Coverdale/Page) on my Sirius, the volume gets CRANKED!!!!

Saw Whitesnake in concert back in the 90s, and although he's not much to look at, he looked incredibly sexy on stage. Love his voice, still listen to their music. Coverdale/Page was a good combination, and would love to see him replace Robert Plant. Kitaen is dead pool candidate; what a freaking mess.

Met the band a couple of times since my friends husband was friends with their tour manager and David was just a sweet down to earth guy. Met Tawnee to and she was average looking in person. But David did love her to death but she cheated on him with another girl. (that was to story from the roadies)

Who cares what the guy looks like, he had by far one of the best voices in Rock music, deep and sexy, Whitesnake can still give me goosebumps all these years later, lurvvvve ya dude!!
