Any high school would be elated to have an alumni running for president -- but the alumni news sections of Obama and McCain's respected high school web sites have no mention their former student's little election square-off today.

But here are few tidbits you can find on their HS websites:

Barack Obama graduated in '79 from Punahou School, where he was on the "Varsity A Basketball" state championship team during his senior year and was nicknamed "Barry."

John McCain was in the class of '54 at Episcopal High School, where he held the "EHS wrestling record for the 'Fastest Pin' for nearly two years" and was nicknamed "Punk."

48. I was under the impression Obama was named after his father the Kenyan man who didn't know his son well at all. I may be wrong. I actually thought his birth name was Barack Hussien Obama II? I also don't think a child under the age of 18 really has a choice as to where he lives. Didn't his mother marry an Indonesian? He has a 1/2 sister from this union from my understanding. This rhetoric spouting has gotten so old over the last few weeks. I can't wait until this election is over so we can get back to...I don't know our lives?

52. Mr. Jones I am sorry you feel you need to use curse words and name calling which of course is found somewhere in the Bible right? The article I had posted about "The Antichrist" is not mine and is posted on a public Christian website endorsed buy the SBCA. As I have said before one is entitled to his or her own opinion. I also want to say that a lot of times one prays for things and hopes or thinks it will/would happen. But what is forgotten is that most times it is NOT God's Will but their will. What I am saying is that there is a reason for President Obama and this IS God's Will and I am sorry and ashamed I had stooped as low as unbelievers and racists etc. This is not how a child of God is to be. But I am only human and am not perfect only he is. Again I say I am entitled to my opinion as you are yours. I accept God's Will and I will pray for and support MY/OUR President Obama and his family. And I am sorry that you have so much hate for me but I have none for you. When I say that I will PRAY for you-I pray for anyone and everyone I can-the cahsier at the supermarket-police officer etc. Who couldn't use prayer?

53. I for one are very glad for our new President. And I hope that all of the skinheads and other people will not ever do any harm. I sincerely will pray very hard for that. It is time our nation comes together as one.

skinhead(my father is African American). I meant that my posts (even
though they weren't my own)were just as ignorant as those of a
racist/skinhead. I agree that this country needs to put all
differences-feelings etc. behind us and come together as one-"Loving
one another" just as Christ loves us. I will join you in prayer
because there IS strength in numbers.
