Tim Robbins Couldn't Vote -- Cops Called

Tim Robbins tried voting at his NYC polling place earlier today. There was some kind of ruckus and the cops were called.

Apparently, Robbins has been voting at that polling place for more than a decade, but today his name wasn't on the register. They told Robbins he had to fill out a provisional ballot but he didn't want to do it. An argument erupted between Robbins and the poll worker. Robbins allegedly got loud and the poll worker said he was calling the cops.

Robbins accused the poll worker of trying to intimidate him so he wouldn't vote.

Robbins went downtown to the City Board of Elections to get proof he was good to vote.

31. What do you want to bet he later finds out his agent/assistant forgot to registrar him to his new NYC address, his CA address, or forgot completely. He was offered a provisional ballot to vote and yet that wasn't good enough and probably all the judge cleared his vote for.

34. What is funny to me is the "you just don't want me to vote" crap. How does he know the political affiliation of the poll worker...he doesn't. She could have been for Obama too! Can you say "pampered celebrity" throws fit for having to follow the same rules we all do?!!

38. Reading the comments to this story, I was immediately reminded why I stopped months ago. Couldn't resist the dumbass comments I knew I'd find. You did not disappoint! A regular Joe who found he wasn't on the books would not be able to spend all day running around. That said, this why early voting is so important. The ballot they were asking him to fill out would not be counted for a a couple of weeks and being who he is, he wanted to be part of the excitement. Leave him alone! Apparently Texas doesn't have the corner on rednecks!
