Tim Robbins tried voting at his NYC polling place earlier today. There was some kind of ruckus and the cops were called.
Apparently, Robbins has been voting at that polling place for more than a decade, but today his name wasn't on the register. They told Robbins he had to fill out a provisional ballot but he didn't want to do it. An argument erupted between Robbins and the poll worker. Robbins allegedly got loud and the poll worker said he was calling the cops.
Robbins accused the poll worker of trying to intimidate him so he wouldn't vote.
Robbins went downtown to the City Board of Elections to get proof he was good to vote.

It seems to me we should all be a little more incensed that this happened and let all vote, liberals and conservatives and everyone in between. Been there done that at least a dozen times when voting in Philadelphia, including my very frist time voting. And I am not a rich white actor or Democrat so I guess it can happen to anyone.

I don't understand why conservatives, republicans and other raving hillbillies even get on TMZ. The site as a whole is liberal and so is most of Hollywood and the people that live out here in general. Why get on this site and bitch? C'mon people.... the 'votes' have already been cast and we all know, regardless of Tim's decidedly and known Democratic vote, who will be the President on 1/20/2009. This happened to my brother's girlfriend this morning in Scottsdale, AZ. She was told the same thing regarding the Provisional ballot but since she is not a celebrity and she can't scream and cry like Tim Robbins she had to bend over and take it. By the way, she is Republican so these mistakes are equal opportunity. Seeing as they had to catch a flight at 8 am she did not have time to do the Provisional ballot crap (which takes 5 days to complete the process). The election is waay over by then anyway.
Idiots calling Tim an attention whore.....This is serious. It happened to me this morning. I brought in my valid voter registration, but my name wasn't on their Stupid list, so I was forced to use a provisional ballot after I protested. The poll worker threatened to have me arrested because I made a big stink about my democratic rights being violated.

Your latest movie bombed the box office so bad and it did not even make it to the top 10 on the opening weekend for God's sake!
