Tim Robbins Couldn't Vote -- Cops Called

Tim Robbins tried voting at his NYC polling place earlier today. There was some kind of ruckus and the cops were called.

Apparently, Robbins has been voting at that polling place for more than a decade, but today his name wasn't on the register. They told Robbins he had to fill out a provisional ballot but he didn't want to do it. An argument erupted between Robbins and the poll worker. Robbins allegedly got loud and the poll worker said he was calling the cops.

Robbins accused the poll worker of trying to intimidate him so he wouldn't vote.

Robbins went downtown to the City Board of Elections to get proof he was good to vote.

64. It seems to me we should all be a little more incensed that this happened and let all vote, liberals and conservatives and everyone in between. Perhaps if we were all a little kinder to one another as a rule we wouldn't be in the mess we're in now. Spouting more negativity really helps eh ?? 69. I don't understand why conservatives, republicans and other raving hillbillies even get on TMZ. The site as a whole is liberal and so is most of Hollywood and the people that live out here in general. Why get on this site and bitch? 70. So, this is news... Tim Robbins had a glitch at his polling place. What a freakin' shame. Like I care that Tim had an issue with casting his ballot. Vote early you idiot. Can anyone say 'photo op'?

C'mon people.... the 'votes' have already been cast and we all know, regardless of Tim's decidedly and known Democratic vote, who will be the President on 1/20/2009. It's obvious thanks to the media and celebrity-stalking public. The cult-like love of the Illinois Senator will indeed prevail and everyone will be SO happy and content, at least for now.

All of the praises, all of the 'support', all of the turn-out....will result in one winner and we all know who that will be. Brace yourselves folks. Be careful what you ask for because you just might get it. And you will.

71. This happened to my brother's girlfriend this morning in Scottsdale, AZ. She was told the same thing regarding the Provisional ballot but since she is not a celebrity and she can't scream and cry like Tim Robbins she had to bend over and take it. By the way, she is Republican so these mistakes are equal opportunity. Seeing as they had to catch a flight at 8 am she did not have time to do the Provisional ballot crap (which takes 5 days to complete the process). The election is waay over by then anyway.

72. Idiots calling Tim an attention whore.....This is serious. It happened to me this morning. I brought in my valid voter registration, but my name wasn't on their Stupid list, so I was forced to use a provisional ballot after I protested. The poll worker threatened to have me arrested because I made a big stink about my democratic rights being violated.

Your latest movie bombed the box office so bad and it did not even make it to the top 10 on the opening weekend for God's sake! BTW, you did not deserve your star in the Hollywood Walk of Fame and I bet my ass you had bribed them with money for the star!
