Michael Crichton is dead.
He's sold 150 million books, including "Jurassic" and "The Lost World." He also created "ER." Crichton died of cancer.
Crichton was 66 when he died yesterday in L.A. His rep called the death "unexpected."

19. How sad! I absolutely love his books! He was one of my favorite authors, and I will miss his intelligent and creative books!
Do yourself a favor and read his books-they are 100 times better than the movies!! My favorite book was 'Timeline'.
