46. My husband is 5 years oler then I am...big deal...I met him when I was 15 and he was 20...we did not do anything but kiss back then. He married and I eventually married...they did not last and we eventually got back together when I was 33 and he 38. we talked on the phone ocationally and were friends, all the years in between. I am now 42 and he is 47 we are still very happy. You people should not assume the worst in everyone. You must be reflecting on yourselves to automatically think such nasty things of people without knoing any facts.

48. Here is a better question TMZ should be asking: what mother would allow her 15 year old daughter to date a 20 year old? A 5 year age difference is nothing when adults are involved.....but it is a pretty huge difference when a 15 year old is involved.

Also, he needs to find some better fitting pants.

49. It's pretty hard to stop a 15 year old girl from doing anything and I'm sure it's harder when she is the bread winner. This girl has grown up too fast and probably has nothing in common with boys her own age. It's still wrong, but the problem was created years ago. Why would a 20 year old guy even be interested in a 15 year old girl if it wasn't for just the fame and money?

It's not a matter of if all they are doing is "kissing". Where the problem lies is what parent would allow her daughter to date someone more experienced which could lead her in a compromising and uncomfortable situation. At 15, you simply do not have the maturity to deal with certain situations. It's not about always assuming the worst....it's simply called being a parent. Glad things worked out for you and your husband. But any realistic person would have to stop and think what the motives are of a 20 year old wanting to date a 15 year old.

Hard to believe you are actually in your 40s.

57. 30. What, they don't have room in the trailer for him? In any other state (well none of them in the south I suppose), this relationship would be considered statutory rape. I suppose she is lucky that they didn't marry her off to one of her cousins or brothers as I heard that's how rednecks keep it all in the family. Maybe she just takes a break from doing dear old dad with this guy, or he is a cover so that we forget about her and her dads :"special" relationship!

It's not statutory rape unless he and Miley are actually having sex. Just dating and hanging out is not illegal. Miley's official position is that she's remaining a virgin until she marries. She's making a BIG public deal about that, with a Purity Ring and everything. Therefore, the authorities have no legal cause to bust Justin.

Of course, if they ever get caught or one of them confesses ...
