I do not believe this is going to change anytime soon. Read the comments in this thread alone. I believe that this will historically change us as a country and no, not in a way that many of you are hoping for. We are headed for a revival of racisim. I grew up in a generation where it seemed like this was becoming less and less of an issue. I really felt like the world was a different place. I believed my children would grow up in a color blind world. I am so saddened by the "CHANGE" I have seen in just the past few months, and am terrified of what the future holds for us all. Black people are behaving like they have conquered "the white man" and I think even people who are not racist are feeling like there has been a line drawn in the sand. All of a sudden we are not a country united, but a country coming untied... To everyone who wanted change. I hope you are ready for what change really means.

47. why do you people think we only voted for Obama because he is black, why dont you look at all the facts more whites voted for Obama than us and no is saying racism is conquered but it is saying anything is possible for the BLACKS before it was a dream now is a reality, CANT YOU LET US HAVE A LITTLE GLORY, whites have always had things there way, give us our PROPS we finally came together.............. 48. I think it was just a ridiculous comment by the reporter. But it is very TYPICAL american type of humor I think..
On the other hand, if m'cain or one of the other idiots would have won, I think the entire country would have
