32. Both boys were at fault here, Nick should have never been driving at that speed, sober or drunk. John made the choice to get in that car. Nick was found guilty and served his time, I am not a fan of Nick Hogan by any means but John's family needs to focus on their son and forgert about Nick. Enough already!!!

Their taped phone conversations were enough to show that this family has no remorse. This kid needs to do serious time! Someone can go away for years for carrying around a little bit of dope that only hurts them, but get trashed, hop in a car and ruin someone's life forever and you only get a couple of months. WTF is wrong with our judicial system? Not only does he get away with no time, but they have fought covering medical expenses and helping out John's family during this time, hording the family money all to themselves. It would be different if the Whorgan's were trying to stand up and find the best medical care for this kid and allowing his parents to be there with him around the clock helping to support them. They choose to turn their backs and fight it blaming it on them. Disgusting.

Too bad they don't have any idea who God is. That is a lie straight out of Satan's mouth that God would do that to him. It is a delusion. Hulk Hogan disgusts me more than his son as he is supposed to speak Truth as the head of his household. They have said they believe in God...where is their fruit of the Spirit that shows itself in every believer? Where is their undying devotion to the Graziano family to help in whtever need they may have as the body of Christ is supposed to? ...they carry on as idol worshippers. God has prevented them from seeing Truth because they have refused Him in Spirit following after their own desires and not His. It was Nick's influence and covering of the enemy that they found it appropriate to get behind the wheel of the car drunk. If Nick was following the path of goodness and mercy that God had laid out before him none of this would have happened. He has sold his soul along with the rest of his greedy family.

2 Thess:2-9

Unless they truly change and become "unlike" them then Christ can't do the cleansing, reginerating work that He is capable of. Scripture says draw near to me and then I will draw near to you. God doesn't force Himself on people, He doesn't need to, because once they realize that He is the only one who will ever satisfy their cravings, and that HE is the only person that will never disappoint them or let them down, their hearts change and they never go back.

34. Its a very sad sitiation. I'm going to believe John got into the car well aware of the situation. It very well could have been him behind the wheel instead. Nick has to live with this for the rest of his life, I believe thats a pretty painful burden to carry around and a lifetime of punishment.

Nick served his time for poor judgement and creditablity, I am sure John wasnt telling Nick not go fast or race who ever blah blah..... he didnt deserve what happened to him, but MISTAKES happen it's life

36. you don't think John was friends with Nick partly because of his celebrity status? Come on....I'm sure that attracted him to Nick to begin with....so all of you blabbing about Nick and his family's celebrity status, them using it, etc. I bet you'd be friends with them too because of it......

39. Give him a break! How many times has a friend had to FORCE you to get into a vehicle with them? I am sure there was no gun to Johns head forcing him into the vehicle. I'm also sure this wasn't the first time either of them where drunk, under the influence and gotten into the vehicle, their luck just ran out this time. And what if if was the other way around, what if, even though Nick was driving, he was the one who sustained all the injuries and was left in the vegetative state? Would John's family feel any guilt and John be to blame for letting Nick drive to begin with??? As a little boy (Nick) he must feel guilty, he was good friends with John and I'm sure loved him deeply. I don't think the intent was hey, let's get all screwed up get into a car and race and crash and see who makes it out alive?? DUH, people have some compassion. What if this was your kid who was driving? It can happen to anyone, in anyone of our families. I'm sure there are readers out there that this actually happened to. Lets hear from them??!!!

40. I agree with alot of people here. One of my best friends and his girlfriend died in a very similar situation 7 years ago. They chose to get into the car and "drag race". They end result was that they both agreed to accompany the driver in this race. The driver lived and they died. Anyways, this is very similar to what I have been through. Yeah, Nick was driving the car but it is not like he woke up that morning and said to himself "I am going to put my best friend John in a vegetated state today". John made the choice to join Nick in this. People race all the time and don't really think to much could happen and then when it does everyone is in shock. I believe in forgiveness. What if it was John that was driving and Nick was the one physically hurt??? Wouldn't his family want the Hogans forgiveness? He did not mean to do this and he should be able to see his friend for a couple of reasons... first to apologize to his friend face to face. And two... maybe it will be a goo learning expirience for him. To really see and understand what can happen when you are driving a car recklessly or not. I am sure Nick feels horrible about what happened. And for all of you who are going to talk about how he was out partying with another friend not long after he got out.... so what??? he has been by himself in a jail.... he did a lot of thinking in there. i am sure he cried almost everyday while in there.... really thinking about that horrible day. he cannot sit in his house everyday and never speak or smile or laugh ever again. I think that John being in this state forever is awful. i don't know him but i still pray that this young man will have a miracle and somehow, some way will get out of that bed and start again. I don't know what else to say... as for the above question.... i think they should forgive Nick but I don't think that they should forget what happened. so.... instead of forgive and forget. .. i say "forgive and never forget...."

41. I feel sorry for John but I feel he was the adult in this situation.If it was Nick who got hurt it would have been a different story.John would be the one in jail for letting a minor drive drunk.They are both at fault.

42. To #40 mrsmartinez, although I agree with some of what you said it also comes down to the fact that saying no one choses to go out and purposely hurt their friend while drag racing. Sorry but you make the choice to do it and you are choosing to hurt or kill someone. I ma so yired of people saying all kids do it. That is so untrue. But sadly we never hear about what the good kids do...the responsible ones. Nick may well feel bad about his friend but after all is said and done by the Bollea family I have my doubts. They have cried over and over again about how they have suffered, how John was negative, his medical condition down played horribly by each and every one of them. I am sure Nick did plenty of crying while he was in jail. What did he expect? A pat on the shoulder by the judge telling him " there, there little man. It's okay. You go home to your toys and be a good boy because your daddy is Hulk Hogan"?! The Graziano family has every right to keep any one from visiting their son. It is up to them how they choose to get through this horror they must live with. I am not saying Nick is 100% responsible. John did chose to get into the car. I am sure he drank too. He chose to hang with a rich punk. Now he is paying a horrible price for his choices. Yes we all want miracles mrsmartinez but have you looked at John's picture? At least 1/3 of his skull and brain are gone. His life as he knew it is forever altered. The best possible thing the Bolleas could do is stay out of the media....pay the medical bills....they owe that much. And keep their silly yaps shut. Yes we all make mistakes in life but the Bolleas just go on and on shooting their mouths off. They don't get it. They never will.

45. Leave this lil dude alone..He is walking around all sad..lol What he did was stupid. BUt it was a accident. what is he supposed to do,,, never ever crack a smile or be happy in LIFE?? I mean he has 60 or 70 more years to live. Its time to move on and let Nick Live..Im sure when he experiences more life and matures more he will realize how lucky he is..Maybe when he has kids he can truly feel the pain of his friends family..Because how much can he understand at this point in his life.
