21. I'm NOT racist - just because I don't think Caroline Kennedy is QUALIFIED to be an AMBASSADOR does NOT mean I'm racist. Get over yourselves! I work in Corporate America - I don't know HOW they do it in other industries - servicem etc but 99 times out of 100 you HAVE TO BE QUALIFIED to do the job you are INTERVIEWING FOR.

I happen to be African American and I DID NOT VOTE FOR OBAMA becuase I did not feel that he had the NECESSARY EXPERIENCE!

Last time I checked, not only did I have the right to vote, I also had the right to my opinion. This is PRECISELY why I wasn't interested in voting for Obama - supporters like you! I did NOT demean anyone nor was I nasty in MY assessment in Caroline Kennedy's qualifications.. And as a TAX PAYER who CERTAINLY will not benefit from the tax cuts that Obama proposes, but will more likely than not seen MINE INCREASED - I don't HAVE to embrace anything...

No offense, ANA, because I really like Caroline. She is the only Kennedy with any class in my opinion. She goes about her life quietly and responsibly; however, this is Obama trying to lap up any connection to the Kennedy name that he can. Since the press has anointed him the "new JFK" (which is a laugh and a half) he is trying to cash in on it now.

Yes, the family has lost members of their family (her father and uncle) but that is the only loss they have sustained in the actual service of their country. I know this will come off as harsh, but all the other members who have passed have done so because they lived careless, carefree lives and it ended up costing them. JFK, Jr. was a novice pilot, the one cousin or uncle or whoever it was who died playing football on snowskis (I still scratch my head over that one).

I have nothing but respect for Caroline and actually think she would be a good Ambassador, but she will be being used for her name recognition and for Obama to look hip.
