Celebrity Pay Dirt
Hayden Panettiere's New House, Structure Thing

Hayden Panettiere is the latest owner of this $2.6 million arrangement of block shapes, and windows.

Deceptively large on the outside, the L.A. hillside home boasts a mere three bedrooms, not including the mystery barracks on the far right. Other perks include a 360 degree view of dead foliage, and the world's largest air conditioning duct display.

17. Mystery barracks is probably the garage...it reminds me of a California school built in the 70's.

18. # 12 The taxes are actually .85% of the appraised value. Hopefully she got a deal. It is still very unsightly especially the duct work

23. I like Hayden very much for her animal rights activism and environmental awareness. I have never seen "Heros", but I've read about her passion for animals and have seen her on talk show discussing environmental awareness. Unlike some other young Hollywood blondes, one never sees pictures of her shorting coke, falling down drunk, exposing herself, etc.

The house is not beautiful from the outside (to me) but I'll bet it's lovely on the inside with great views.

24. Just think of what a beautiful home you could buy in Hawaii, Hilton Head, S.C., or Scottsdale, AZ with that amount of money. That is a hideous monstrosity and does not even qualify as being unique...just ugly.

25. These comments are an excellent example of why I rarely visit TMZ. Every once in awhile I forget and log on. Yet, the overwhelming negativity of these posts is sad. I personally look at the positive in life. If you don't like the house, you don't have to live in it. And, unless you are a neighbor, who cares if you think it's ugly.

26. Sheesh, California real estate broker here. Her property taxes will be the base of 1% for the state and approximately another .25 of 1 percent for our slew of bond issues. Houses are reassessed at the time they are purchased, and can be reassessed automatically another 2% per year, broken into 6 month segments (1% and 1% per year). Her annual property taxes on this home, which I beg to differ: it's probably gorgeous inside, are about $32,500 per year. Carry on~

27. Um dumb dumbs l think they was pointing out the fact that she is a superficial hipocritical spacehead. She preachs about saving the whales or whatever this weeks mission is and totally contradicts herself the next time she does something. Or maybe they are just pointing out how bad of taste she has in real estate hunting lol oh the iorny.
