As a teen we used to say "Peace, love , and Bobby Sherman" (so we were not the brightest kids but we had fun!)
Damn Bobby Sherman. 65 years old and he STILL looks better than I do...and by now I had hoped he was a fat old bald geezer....no wait....that is ME!!!

It's great to see Bobby and see that he looks happy and see that he's in law enforcement. I believe he was an EMT at one time wasn't he?

Boy does this bring back a LOT of "old" but very very good memories for me and a LOT of us out here who couldn't get enough of Bobby on "Here Comes the Brides", on Shindig and in EVERY teeny-bopper magazine back in the day

I spent all my allowance on them and on his old 45's and his albums. Still have them. My daughter's 23 and makes so much fun of them - of ALL my old albums and crushes. Too bad. I'm keepin' em.

I loved Mark Lindsay and Freddy Weller of "Paul Revere & the Raiders" and Pete Duel and Ben Murphy from "Alias Smith & Jones" and BOBBY SHERMAN back then

Any of you on here who had crushes on any of them too? Would love to hear from you.

I've seen recent pics of Mark, Freddy, Keith Allison and Ben Murphy but hadn't seen any of Bobby Sherman recently.

As for Pete Duel...well, it's been almost 40 years since he died but I'm still not over him. I know his other fans aren't either and we'll never be.

24. What a wonderful example he is to Hollywood. He has survied the industry and is a productive giving human being unlike many of the actors today only wanting to better themselves and feel the need to tell the rest of us how we should live. Wish Here Comes the Brides could be seen in reruns.

I remember every guy in my classes hating Bobby, Mark Lindsay and all the other hot idols we girls loved back in the day so you're not alone there

I forgot to add in my other post that I was like 13 or 14 when I had all these huge crushes and Bobby, Mark & the others were all a lot older than me but then I've always loved "older" men lol. Bobby was like 27, Mark about 25 & Pete and Ben were in their late 20's/early 30's. I look back now & think wow, I'm just SURE all these grown men were so interested in what we little girls had to say - now yeah, the older teenage girls sure, but us little girls? Since I don't think any of them were or are child molestors I can only imagine how silly we all looked, BUT then again, we sure helped to make them rich from record sales and stuff lol so maybe they do remember us fondly as well

Now, those years between our ages don't seem nearly so large so we're all still in love with you Bobby!

I couldn't stand guys my age back then anyway so I didn't like Donny Osmond or any of those "teen" guys that were hot back then either. Nope, I always had a crush on the "older" men & still do

So tell me...."Bobby, Bobby, Bobby, do ya love me (us)?"

26. Wow, I had no idea he went on to become a police officer. He looks great and so glad to know a former teen idol is doing something positive w/their life. At least he didn't become a bloated has-been who either is still going around singing the oldies or someone who is always in trouble with the law. Bet he takes a lot of teasing from his fellow officers. Great job Officer Sherman and keep up the good work. San Bernardino County is lucky to have you!!

27. I had such a HUGE crush on him!! I just devoured any Tiger Beat magazine that had him on the cover!!

28. Bobby has done wonderful things with his life. He has been an EMT and a police officer. For those that don't know, he was extremely popular and rich. He could have lived off his earnings easily and done nothing else. Instead, he chose to help others and never got caught up in the whole Hollywood thing. On top of all that, he still looks really good too. "Julie Do You Love Me" was my favorite song. I used to get all excited when he would sing "I'll be back September..." in that song because my birthday is in September. Goofy, I know, but it was the early 70's and alot of stuff was goofy back then. We called it groovy, not goofy.

29. Bobby was all over my walls as I would rip his picture out of Tiger Beat. He was so hot in his day and I think he looks so good now. Great job on being a sex symbol and a pop idol and not ending up on drugs or in jail. He looks really pulled together.
