An Officer and a Former Actor/Singer

The 65-year-old resurfaced working as a San Bernardino County sheriff deputy, looking official.

Bobby's last acting credit was in 1986.

Sherman built a one-fifth scale model of Disneyland's Main Street in his yard.

50. Bobby Sherman was a beautiful young man who was almost too perfect, but he made me swoon. Whew! He was amazing. I mean, that's just all I can say about him - his face left me speechless - he was just beautiful. And when he performed and appeared on television, he seemed so kind.

Along with everyone else here (well, almost everyone else), I applaud Bobby for making wise life choices and conducting his life in such an honorable manner. Good for him.

Now to #37, Debbie, who said, "I have met him at a Rialto High School NJROTC car show. I hate to pop anyones' bubble, but he's an ass. He thinks he's better than any other officer that was there..."

Debbie, if you are even to be believed, you might have crossed this man's path for a second, probably at a distance, if at all, yet you drew a conclusion of his character based upon that - enough to come on here and blast him to the world.

It would appear, Debbie, that the only "ass" here is you.

And by the way, you might want to consult your 4th grade English book before you decide to publicly assassinate someone's character.

53. I met Bobby in 1997 while working for an HMO. Bobby had just finished teaching a CPR class (LA County) when a friend/associate, Tom, offered to introduce me to him; one of Tom's relatives was a friend of Bobby's from way back. Needless to say, I was quite nervous, although I shouldn't have been because he was a gracious, charming person. I told Bobby that I watched him on Shindig! (he was a Dancer on that show, as was Terri Garr) and Here Come The Brides. His reply to that made my day(sweet). He shook my hand and I went back to my desk, where I told my Associates that I wouldn't wash my hand, ever again (mushy, I know)! Tom went back (his insistence) and got Bobby's autograph on a sticky memo, which I still have. I don't recall hearing that he was an officer, but rather, an EMT.

55. Boy does this bring back memories. I had such a crush on him. He was my favorite on 'Here comes the brides". I did a little search and found he gave up show business. It is a LAPD uniform. He is a reserve officer with the LAPD. He wears a police uniform, but carries a medical kit not a gun, Works as an EMT , training new EMTs. He's officer in both LAPD and San Bernardino Sheriff's Department, He is essentially volunteer worker -- the pay is $50 a month. He invested well over the years to be able to do this.

56. Bobby Sherman has devoted his life to public service. He has volunteered for both San Bernardino Sheriff and the LAPD. I also believe that he is committed to getting as many people as possible trained in CPR. I have seen him twice this year. His EMT group helps out at local 5k's. They hand out water but more importantly, he and his fellow EMT's stand at the finish line and ask all the runners if they are feeling okay after the race and offer assistance to anyone who might not be feeling well after racing. He is a real class act. Very kind and humble.

58. He had been a reserve LAPD officer and then became a San Berdindino reserve county sheriff...Reserve officers are volunteers but go through much the same training as a full-time police officer. He has been very actve in his communities over the years and has given a lot of himself to his communities. I have met him and he is a sincerely nice person.
