Suspect Confession in Hudson Case?

William Balfour -- the only suspect in the Hudson triple murder case -- allegedly told his current girlfriend he was involved in the murders of Hudson's mother and brother, according to sources at the Chicago Tribune.

Balfour's girlfriend in turn told police what he told her. The Tribune also cites sources saying Balfour "acknowledged being at Hudson's Englewood home" on the morning Jennifer Hudson's mother and brother were shot to death inside, and Jen's nephew was abducted and later killed.

These are incredible statements considering William -- who has not been charged with a crime -- could be released tomorrow morning pending a decision by the Illinois Prisoner Review Board on whether he violated the terms of his parole.

Chicago police refused to comment.

31. I think Moreaces, for some of us she just doesn't appear as the grieving mother, daughter , sister.. sad.
No, we aren't the police or detectives, just everyday people tracking
the case... but we see so much of this, sadly, in the news these
days. And especially coming off the Casey Anthony case, as parents
many of us just don't get it, we don't get her lack of emotion, we
don't get her My Space photos and comments... maybe we are wrong, I
hope we are, but for many something just doesn't sit right with this
woman and this crime.

33. The only one that should be mourned for is JULIAN. The rest of them were were drug dealers and gang members, Opra and the rest of the big wigs shouldn't get involved because they seem to be making a big deal out of it, which does not look right for their image. WHAT WAS SHE THINKING. SEND A SYMPHATHY CARD. The only one we should hear from opening his big mouth is the Revernd Al Sharpton. Where is he?? I guess he "CAN'T TOUCH THAT " IS IT BECAUSE IT IS ONE OF HIS OWN BEING ACCUSED. WHY THE HELL, ISN'T HE PROTESTING for justice...As for the president elect that is why this case is not being solved right away. Jenifer Hudson is suppose to sing for him. I guess Chicago takes care of their own. Damn, Opra and the rest of them are grieving for drug dealers.....If it were not for Jenifer's connection with
Hollywood you wouldn't see Opra there. As for Jen not knowing what went on in her family I find it hard to believe.

34. We are all speculating and we really do not know what is the true story. chances are William Balfore may not be the culprit,even though he had a record years ago and was out on probation. I have a feeling that there is more to this case than what meets the eyes. The fact that Jason, william, and Julian's father all belonged to the same gang, gives me an uneasy feeling. Julia my also be a member of the gang - her son's father is a member of the same gang of which her husband is a member. I believe Julia and Jennifer and their relatives and the people who live in the community know what is the truth. Whenever you have a death involving drugs and gangs, the people affected tend to take thier own justice, in the form of reprisal killings. The authorities said that the gun that was the murder weapon and belonged to Jason, was infact stolen form soneone in Michigan, therefore, I deduce that Jason had an illegal gun. I read an article written by a reporter who was at the funeral, who says that Jennifer spent sometime with her nephew and a considerable time with her nother , but only walked by jason's casket. Could it be that this cirme was gang and drug related? In my opinion, because this family was so entrench in drugs and the gang that the deaths might be related to these folks lifestyle, except for the minor child Julian. The whole murder looked like a hit job, where these gangsters take out the whole family. This seems like it is the trend, because I have heard of numerous cases in the caribbean, where the gangsters and the drugists are just takein out whole families, even the baby. It is a sad story, but these kind of murdesrs happen in the drug and gang world.

35. Um Julia's mother was the one raising Julian, the one who put limits on Julia and kicked the druggie gang banger husband out of the house..how is she not an innocent vitim in this? If it wasn't for Jennifer's hollywood connection we wouldn't have heard anything about this case in the news, .. period. And I'm sorry when did Obama get involved??? .. or Oprah for that matter?? .. involved how...did they just state thier opinions??? .. last I checked that was legal here in the US of A......stop spreading rumors.

39. To all of you who are blaming her for what happened or think she had something to do with it you are just plain stupid. I don't think you have been following this case to well. If the police believed she did it then why is she not in police custody? Use your common since yeah her sister is famous Julia is her own person she is nothing but proud of her sister and always have been even before the fame. She love her family dearly and would never do anything to hurt them. Julian her only son her pride and joy, she provided greatly for him. He didn't want for nothing this I know everything he needed she got and everything he wanted she got if she was able to. So to think she would have something to do with this is insane. Stop judging her and get your facts straight. She had one mother, brother, and son now that they are gone what is she going to do. Only someone so cold hearted could be capable of something like this. I will not for a second believe she was involved in something like this I know her too well. She is hurting but she might not show it, everyone grieves differently and the media doesn't make it no better it seems to me that you people get off on see people going crazy or at their lowest point. You never how what or how a person really feels when they are alone. So stop all your assumptions and just follow along the police don't owe us nothing they are going about the case in this way for a reason obviously. It takes time be patient.

40. It's my understanding tha Julia is a SCHOOL bus driver and the whole district was shut down due to inservice that included charter schools. That means bus drivers don't report. She definately had something to do with it. Probably planned it and let him in as she was leaving to collect her welfare, so she could do some sherm stick
