The reason for why Miley's sex life is noteworthy is that she has made a BIG deal about telling everyone she's going to remain a virgin until she's married. Disney is marketing her show to the Family Values folks as clean, wholesome entertainment, and they would lose a large piece of their audience if it ever came out that Miley was commiting the sin of premarital sex ... and the sin of lying about doing it in spite of her virginity commitment.

If she was just a normal Hollywood teenage slut, no one would care what she did with her boy- or girlfriends. Well, I should qualify that. People will still want to know for titillation value, but no one would be thinking about hypocrisy.

Simply dating someone under age is not illegal. He can only be busted if they're having sex. Miley's official position is that she's remaining a virgin until marriage, and so there is no legal basis for arresting this guy.

Now, if they ever get caught doing it or one of them rats the other one out, then it's a different story. But both of them have good reason to keep this under wraps, assuming that they're doing it at all.

He was 19, his girlfriend 17, when her parents had him charged with statutory rape. She has led a merry life and had two babies out of wedlock while this young man sat 3 years in the slammer. 57. To #55: I don't believe your story about someone doing prison time for this. Yes, the law says under 18 but I know for a fact the DA would not even try to get a conviction when the age difference is only 2 years. The ones that go to jail are the 30 year olds having sex with the 13 year olds and even these cases are tough to get a conviction on.While you may have a point, there is either more to this story you are telling that you are leaving out or you are fibbing or someone fibbed to you.
