That is verbatum, word for word from his speech in Oregon. It is on youtube and may be a snippet, but that is exactly what he said. How can that be taken out of context??

Just another Obamatron, defending things that are right there, video-taped, but refuse to see or believe what is right in front of their face.

40. This is a direct quote of Sarah Palin in an interview that aired Monday on Fox News. Note how she is characterizing the Bush administration and the Republicans. She talks about how the Republicans allowed us to run up a 10 trillion dollar national debt and how they made blunders in the war. These are the same kind of arguments that those nasty, horrible liberals were making.

This message seems to be somewhat different from what she was saying during the campaign. It seems to me that now that Palin is getting stabbed in the back by people in the McCain campaign, she decided to get some revenge by kissing the asses of the liberals. And she's doing it on Fox News, the network that first released the story about the McCain staffers' complaints about Palin, which might be a little bit of subtle vengeance against Fox, as well.

Here's the interview excerpt:

Greta Van Susteren: "Why did your campaign lose?"

Sarah Palin: "I think the Republican ticket represented too much of the status quo, too much of what had gone on in these last eight years, that Americans were kind of shaking their heads like going, wait a minute, how did we run up a 10 trillion dollar debt in a Republican administration, how have there been blunders with war strategy under a Republican administration.

"If we're talking change, we want to get far away from what it was that the present administration represented and that is to a great degree what the Republican Party had been representing. People desiring change I think went as far from the administration that is presently seated as they could . . . It's amazing that we did as well as we did."

42. Sequence of events:

1. Some members of the McCain campaign staff anonymously trash Sarah Palin to Fox News.

2. Fox News publishes these staff members' anti-Palin comments.

3. Other news organizations, liberal and conservative alike, also take up the story.

4. Kelsey Grammer selectively dumps on the liberal news organizations which carry this story, and completely ignores the conservative news organizations who are also doing so, including Fox News, which is the one who broke this story to begin with.

In other words, it's clear that Grammer is deliberatly attempting to mislead the public by trying to pin this story on liberals, when it actually was some conservative McCain operatives and the conservative Fox News network who are responsible for this story hitting the airwaves in the first place.

Grammer must seem to think that it's OK to lie to Americans, as long as it's for the purpose of furthering his conservative cause.

44. Okay, TMZ is media, well, classified as media anyway, so that makes it liberal. I know, I know, all you dems and libs will now be spewing stuff about me, but whatever. While Fox News did break the story, it also stressed the comments came from an"anonymous" source. Translated, let's create a scapegoat. The NY Slimes had a brief mention of an anonymous source. Made it more like fact. But what can you expect for the "newspaper"?

45. Fox is the ONLY news channel that shows both sides of a story. ONN(formly CNN) still refuses to carry any story that questions Obama's character. Hell. ONN won't even carry a story on how we are winning the war in Iraq. How bout the story that broke today where Obama is going to allow Iran to assist in the Afganistan war. Iran is the country suppyng the weapons to the terrorist. You won't see that on ONN because it shows Obama for what he is, a fake who can only operate from a script.
