She won't pay any extra in taxes because the wealthy elite have a coterie of attorneys and accountants that know how to keep the money oiut of the government's pockets.

You must understand something....they don't have to live by the same rules as the rest of us. That's why "the rich get richer, and the poor get poorer". The only ones to "pay" under Obama will be people like you and other average Americans.

The only way Oprah will suffer is if people WITHDRAW THEIR SUPPORT and TUNE HER OUT and STOP BUYING HER MAGAZINE and DON'T PURCHASE ANYTHNG SHE ENDORSES. She's only as strong as her support (fan) base. No viewers = no ad revenue = Oprah goes bye-bye.

26. WOW, look at all the haters. Please Oprah has done more for white people then most people. For along time her own black people didn't like her because they felt like she was doing to much for WHITE PEOPLE. Oprah is not a racist some of her good friends are white, and some are even Republicans (Donald Trump) to name one, and of different religions. Get over it OBAMA won end of story, nothing you can say or do to change that, it is what it is. And yes people are hating on Oprah because she is rich but mostly because she is rich and BLACK. But don't get me wrong most of the people who come to this website hate on everyone because they don't have half the stuff most celebrities have stop complaining and get off you lazy butt. People make rude and ignorant comments because they think it will hurt someone else, but all your really doing is hurting yourself. Remember people talked about Jesus and he was without sin, and filled with love for us.

27. Why do you think Oprah supports Obama just because he is Black? And better yet what if thats why she did? What scares people so much about one Black person supporting another? Why is that a hard image for so many people to swallow? Is it easier to see Black people killing each other, disrespecting each other? What scare you about a Black person loving and supporting another Black person, especially in the case of Obama who is intelligent, positive, and just straight up a better politician and intellectual than John McCain or Sarah Palin will ever be?

Also, before anyone dares make this assumption...to love Blackness does not mean one hates or despises Whiteness...loving oneself or ones culture or any other for that matter does not function in a binary. So let us consider that maybe Oprah gave extra support to Obama not only because of his politics and his promises but also because he was a Black man who stood a fair chance to win the election, because he was someone that she could identify with, someone with whom she wants to love and support because to do so would be an affirmation of her own Blackness...is that wrong in this society where people automatically assume that White is universal and to even mention let alone love Black is racist or reverse racism?

And PS Obama won by a landslide...so please please stop "blaming" Black people for the results of the election because a lot of non Black people, a lot of White people had to have voted for him as well.

29. You can't have it both ways. You either support what we, as Americans (regardless of race) have done as a whole, or you don't. It's not that white people 'hate black people'. Seriously!! Aren't we past that ??? I believe some of these posts are simply a result of the realistic opinion of what is going on with Ms. Winfrey, that's it. Don't make it more than it is. Because Obama won 'by a landslide', doesn't mean white people are unhappy about it (I'm pretty damned sure a majority of white people voted for the man). The statements in this post declaring white people are offended because a 'black supported a black' just proves that you yourself are racist (specifically 'Critical Thinker"). The color of skin doesn't matter -- nor should it have, but many believe Oprah's choice did - you pretty much have to live in a cave or have the sight of a blind man not to think that! The story here is that Ms. Winfrey stood by a man, with great ideas and great anticipation, motiviation, and passion - but one should really consider if Obama's skin were a different color, if Ms. Winfrey would have made the effort she did if another candidate displayed the same traits. Don't spread this hatred.... it's a forum for folks to discuss what's on their minds... solely. TMZ loves this crap. How could someone 'blame black people for the results of the election'???
