TMZ has learned the rapper will perform at the Country Music Awards tonight alongside Kid Rock. Wayne will be the first major hip-hop artist to take the stage at the CMAs.
Kid and Wayne performed together at the VMAs two months ago. Déjà vu!
No word if Carrie Underwood is going to be on the "Lollipop" remix.

To justcortney, the word legend is a pretty strong word. Elvis is a legend. Madonna is a legend. John Lennon is a legend. Kid Rock is just a singer who had a couple of hits. He's all right, but putting him in a legend status is a bit of a stretch. As for Lil' Wayne, he's a dime a dozen.

yea it was hilarious....kid rock performed and lil wayne just kinda bobbed around in the background pretending to play the guitar. he gave a shout out to him in the begining and i was like wut? lil wayne?? it was pretty hilarious. other than that the show kicked ass!!!
