Daisy Duke Shut Out of CMAs

Jessica SimpsonFormer pop singer/actress/wife Jessica Simpson just added another stellar achievement to her disintegrating resume, the CMAs' persona non grata.

In a last ditch effort to save her career, the "Dukes of Hazzard" star released a country album earlier this year -- so it would have made sense to make an appearance at last night's show. Unfortunately, the Carrie Underwood-hosted CMAs had no time to have Tony Romo's current girlfriend perform, present or sit in the bleachers, since they had already filled their ranks with tried and true country artists like ... Hugh Jackman, Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon and Lil Wayne!

But don't worry, Ashlee Simpson's sister doesn't need the entire country music establishment on her side. Tonight she's performing at an Indian casino near Ontario, Calif. and we're told 50% of tix are still available.

"Dancing with the Stars" here she comes!

4. This girl is only "MARGINALLY" talented. She and her sister both have been "MARKETED" (PIMPED OUT) by their father as "TALENTED"! Neither of them are singers, actors or anything else for that matter. They both need to fade into obscurity and be thankful for the 15 minutes of fame they did have!

7. She isn't performing in Ontario she's performing in Highland at the casino I work at. Not sure why everyone likes to beat her up because she's never done anything other than date Tony Romo....

8. It makes no sense because you could buy tickets if you wanted to so even outsiders could go to this is they wanted to fork out the hefty price for the ticket it's how they make some of their money back for this award show. Either she wasn't ruly dedicated to CMAs or had other obligations

9. Ok so its actually San Bernardino CA lol called San Manuel Indian Casino and well coming from San Bernardino CA she has hit rock buttom, those boots are made for walking, so I hope thats what they'll do (corny I know)

10. I'm sure it had a lot to do with Carrie Underwood. She was hosting it and she probably did BAN her from being there. She didn't want to share the spotlight with Jess.

13. Simply nonsense... Celebrities and performers get invited and walk the red carpet, they don’t purchase tickets. Tickets for sale are for people like you and I. Jessica would have looked like the biggest loser (which is usually the case for that girl) if she purchased tickets to an award show that every other celebrity and artist were invited to for free. They didn’t invite her because she sucks and she knows it.

15. Oh please, Carrie didn't have the authority to ban anyone, and how would Jessica steal the spotlight from the HOST? The fact is that Jessica isn't near as talented as Carrie, and people have noticed that Carrie has taken the high road and stayed out of the drama. Jessica was the one that wore the stupid "real women eat meat" shirt when she knows Carrie is a vegetarian. Jessica will disappear shortly and Carrie will still be successful. She'll always be successful, and if you haters don't like it I'm sorry. Deal with it! Carrie was amazing last night and she sounded awesome. She was the star of the show, and everyone knows it. WE love you Carrie!
