Google This!

There is another cool feature to Google Maps (besides trying to find yourself on a satellite photo) -- checking to see if your house burned to the ground!

The CEO of Google, Eric Schmidt, bought this $20 million estate back in 2007. The four bedroom, four bath home, sits on four acres of land (yes, $5 million per bedroom/bathroom).

The road Schmidt lives on has been closed and the area is part of the mandatory evacuation zone.

#6 is right. A little angry, but correct. Google sent cars around with 360 degree cameras to drive all around and take pictures of stuff. There is no live satellite. Harvey, why don't you test it out. Go outside, google yourself and then wait.

PS don't forget to take that stupid cup you are always drinking out of.

I thought that everyone knew that Google Earth was time lapsed by months. The picture that they have of my house is really old. It shows a car parked in my driveway that I sold over six months ago.

Google Earth is indeed satellite photos, but not in real time. Google Street View is part of Google Maps, and that's where the photogs drive around and take pictures.

Kan... I stand corrected. I hate it when I'm wrong. I still think Harvey's cup is annoying though.
