Does this look like the current leader of Alaska and former McCain running mate, or just another candid shot of a celeb with nice legs kickn' it by the pool?

It's no coincidence -- Sarah Palin oozes the celeb vibe and appears more than comfortable with it.

The pic was taken at the Republican Governor's Conference in Miami. Sarah apparently cut out of the seminar on post traumatic election stress syndrome.

I am a Republican, and I think that *you* are the one who isn't using your mind.

Look at the election results. Sarah Palin drove voters AWAY from the Republican Party in all demographic groups except Social Concervatives and the Racially Intolerant. The number of voters she drove away is much larger than the number of voters she attracted, which represents a net loss for the Republican Party because of Sarah Palin's efforts.

The Democrats are calling her "the gift that keeps on giving", because if she runs again, she will continue to drive Moderates away from the Republicans, and she'll make winning the next election easy for the Democrats. In other words, the Democrats are not afraid of her at all -- they WANT her to run.

As a Republican, I am praying that Sarah Palin does not run for national office again, because I don't want our G.O.P. to be further destroyed and marginalized. You can like her, and you can admire her values and beliefs, but she is the kiss of death for our Party.
