Sam Ronson -- Furious About Flour

Samantha Ronson is coming to her woman's defense and telling PETA to back off.

"I'm pissed at the bag of flour thrown on Lindsay last night" railed Samantha Ronson on her blog today. She added that the woman who doused Lindsay not only "acted liked an animal herself" but that it was actually an "insult to animals to group her in with them."

Sam also calls PETA's previous apologies too little too late, and insists they should actually thank celebrities who wear fur since they are one of the only things keeping the agency relevant.

Sam doesn't mince words when it comes to her lil' LiLo!

121. Elsie,

i m NO member of PETA but fighting the useless und unnecedssary use of fur and leather and meat products is NOT about "imposing their beliefs on someone else"!
The important thing is that ANIMALS cannot(!!!) defend their "rights" or protect themselves from the CRUELTIES human being impose upon THEM!
So PETA and other people are just speking in the name of the tortured animals (not only regarding fur but also for example egg production, hideous cruel transport of LIVING animals thousands of kilometers across continents, a.s.o.) who are not CAPABLE of "speaking" and telling us about their physical PAIN!

There simply is no NEED(!) that I could see for using fur, leather or eating meat! Yes, I have been raised on a farm till my teenaqge years and I sued to eat the meat my parents "raised" and killed there, however, after I realized WHERE the meat I buy in cities COMES FROM and with what torture it s being produced I gradually stopped eating parts of LIVING animals and have lived much BETTER vas a egetarian for the last 20 years......I m currently reducing the leather things in my wardrobe as well, i.e. if I need new boots I buy NO leather boots or handbags any more! Nowadays so MANY beautiful non-leather clothing is availabel, even at hi-end quality designer level, that s it s really IGNORANT and SELFISH to killa nd let animals suffer for fur (actually soemwhat "disgusting" as well not only from the animal-rights point of view, but would you also like to wear the skin/dried scalp of HUMAN bodies next to your skin? Dead animal skin are BODIES too!)

QUOTE: "108. I often wonder just how "informed" some people really are. Anybody want to bet that the vast majority of them use products teeming with animal byproducts, - many lipsticks and glosses, shampoos, conditioners, lotions contain them under disguised ingrediant names. And, any construction worker will tell you that leather boots and gloves hold up far better than synthetics. While they're fully entitled to their opinion, they are NOT entitled to impose their beliefs upon others. One of these times some fanatic is going try this and is going to be severly hurt. I guess that's why they always attack the weakest among us to make their statements. Children making childish statements and generally acting like children. They must not have been breast fed.

122. #101. Sorry, Buddha Lady, you're the sadly ignorant one......and a sucker for buying into this one. Animal products do NOT stick to the colon's walls and cause all kinds of health problems, -- all kinds of MEDICAL books on the subject are available, or you can ask countless MEDICAL professionals, RATHER then a HEALTH-FOOD STORE or informercial that will be glad to sell you something to clean out your not-clogged colon. If you care to REALLY EDUCATE yourself. And here's a free safety tip if you wish to persist in this nonsense, don't try DrainO.

123. this is ridiculous. phrases such as "food chain" and "circle of life" come to mind. Will PETA next give those mean ol lions in an africa a talking to, telling them not to hunt gazelle on the savannah? No no no Mr. Lion, don't eat him, here's a sunflower seed. Please. PETA needs to remember that use of animals by primitive society is what got us here to day. If it weren't for Umbala Lak Lak wearikng a buffalo/mastodon hide to survive the winters we may not be here. PETA can believe whatever they want, its what makes our country great; however they have no right to assault others to make their case. So pedestrian.

124. I don't think flour should be used in this way, PETA. Think of all the starving people in the world and you guys are wasting precious food. Shame on you.

125. PETA is bulls**t! Who the hell gives them the right to throw anything at anyone? That is assault, they should be thrown in jail. No, I don't think that humans need to wear animals...but this is ridiculous. What's next, terrorizing people for eating meat?

126. Who cares? It's just flour.

127. I'm 'bout ready to kick me some peta ass.
Ya'll need to leave my girl alone.
Don't make me come over there.

128. Couldn't Lindsay turn around and say they assaulted her? It sounds like that's what they did. Regardless of whether she wears fur.... or even if she WAS at the moment, or wasn't... it doesn't mean she should get flour dumped on her... I'd take some action....

129. While I make my disdain for Sam and Lilo abundantly clear, wearing fur is legal, and physically accosting someone is not. Be it with your fist, a condomint, whatever. Peta frequently crosses the line of legality in the name of "good cause" far too often. My question is, when does this 'freedom fighting" become domestic terrorism? Peta is dangerously close, if they haven't past the mark already.

130. LiLo and SaRo need to chill out. It's flour, thats all! I'm sure she's had worse things thrown at her. At least she didn't feel the pain that animals feel when they are skinned alive. yes that's right- alive. most factories don't euthanize them to save money. SAY NO TO FUR! To the people that think fur is great, think about your family pet, and if someone was "wearing" them. I'm not a violent person, I am a member of PETA; so just because one person is to blame doesn't mean a whole organization (especially one that works for the benefit of all animals) to be blamed. Again, it's just flour!

131. It's just a dead animal.

132. If PETA were really serious about their opinions they would be going after the offending labs, ranchs, and slaughter houses, - they would be trying to change the laws to ensure humane treatment of animals and livestock. This is not their approach, though. Their goal is for the world to be vegan. Too bad that the vast majority doesn't agree with them, - which is why they always try to use sensationalism to keep themselves in the news. The turning-point will be when one of them gets laid out during one of their "assaults". The public has had just about enough of their assinine stance.

133. I despise PETA and all their minions, but I also think it's criminal to wear fur.
You fur-wearing jerks really think your precious little pet dogs and cats are any different than all the innocent little creatures that are treated horribly, then killed and skinned to make your disgusting fur coats and other accessories? How about a nice Chihuahua coat? Or Bulldog? Or whatever other animal you own. Imagine your precious Poochie being skinned to make you a coat. Nice, huh? You're all hypocrites. The suffering of others is meaningless to you, so long as you aren't personally affected by it, right? Gag.
