The Hills Are Alive

The 78-year-old came out of the woodwork recently looking radiant.
Christopher Plummer
Plummer allegedly despised working on "The Sound of Music" and refers to it as "The Sound of Mucus."

Both he and his daughter, actress Amanda Plummer, were nominated for Emmys in 2005. She won, he didn't.

16. FYI

Chris wrote an autobiography - "In Spite of Myself" - it is out now:http://www.amazon.com/Spite-Myself-Memoir-Christopher-Plummer/dp/0679421629/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1226886334&sr=8-1

I'm seeing him here in New York for a book signing.

He is the greatest actor alive today.

21. I loved him in TSOM. He was so dashing, so handsome. He will always be my ultimate leading man. When he and Maria danced on the patio, doing the waltz, and he reached his white-golved hand over her shoulder to take her hand, I lost my breath. It was the most romantic longing I had ever seen.
