16. Natalie "Mrs. Howell" Schaffer passed away at the age of 90 in 1990.

"Roseanne" was able to reunite Bob Denver with Russell, Tina, and Dawn in a dream scene, before he died at least. It was the only so called 'reunion' that Tina Louise participated. They were playing characters from "Rosanne".

17. I occasionally run into The Professor, since he lives a few doors down from my sister's beach house. Gracious to fans (especially those who remember his non-Gilligan roles), lively, devoted to a number of local civic causes as well as the ones you mention. A prince. Also looks better in person than the pic you ran here.

19. To all you punk teenagers and 20 somethings. Respect your elders because someday soon, you will be praying that you look as good as "the Professor" at 84. Time passes quickly and this is a good example of that. Gilligans Island was a classic. Seems like yesterday. Too bad todays society is rude and vulgar and the democratic party represents them well. G I WAS A ONCE IN A LIFETIME SHOW.

24. don't know what i was expecting but his pic just threw me off .. my first reaction was 'oh!' not a good oh just a stunned shocked oh .. for some reason, i thought he would be buttery soft and smooth looking
.....................................................................................................................................................

That's weird...I had the exact same reaction. I'm like mmm, yeah I wanna see the professor and his hotness and then I clicked on and I was like oh...hmm...

26. Sometimes life kicks you right square in the balls. Maybe he can invent a skin cream for those f*ckin' strawberries on his cheek. "Gilligan, bring me some coconuts for this melanoma!!!" These comments were all made in fun. Come on...we all love the Professor. I mean...if Gilligan were alive today I'd be ripping him. Fun Fact: Alan Hale Jr. liked to drink Pabst Blue Ribbon naked in the shower.

28. Dear Ginger #3, No, Natalile Schaefer died in 1990 at 90 years old. There is one of the best Hollywood death websites I have ever found, findadeath.com, and the Gilligan's Island dearly departed cast is found here: http://www.findadeath.com/Decesed/g/Gilligan's%20Island/gilligans_island2.htm

29. Just like Harry Dean Stanton, this guy is a bona fide WWII hero (Bomber Pilot) and all around good guy. And as far as "looks" count, he "looks" like he could stretch out any of you punks whining about his strawberries. So there.

30. Thanks for the info, guys! GI was my favorite show growing up...I even wrote about it in my diary...I was mighty impressed with the one where they tried to get the Robot to swim to Hawaii, but Gilligan "D'ohed" again by putting in his lucky rabit foot! Thanks for the trip! See ya in the funnies!
