On the current stranded island show "Lost," the name Russell Johnson is mentioned as one of the lottery winners.
31. WELL BEFORE GILLIGAN'S ISLAND, UNCLE RUSSELL ( MY REAL UNCLE ) DID A LOT OF WESTERNS, MOSTLY WITHOUT HORSES. HE WAS ONE OF THE ONLY LEFT HANDED GUNSLINGERS IN THE WILD, WILD, WEST.
ONE OF MY FAVORITES WAS A FRIDAY NIGHT SERIES CALLED BLACK SADDLE, WHERE RUSSELL PLAYED A ROOTIN', TOOTIN. SMALL TOWN SHERIFF, NAMED GIBB SCOTT.
ANOTHER FAVORITE WAS A MOVIE HE CO-STARRED IN WITH RONALD REAGAN....I AM LOOKING AT THE PHOTOGRAPH AS I WRITE THIS.....CALLED LAW AND ORDER.

32. One of my first crushes was the Professor, what a gorgeous man! And you incredibly immature, crass people.. what do you think you're going to look like in your eighties? Can't stop Father TIme, just wait til you're that old and people are the same idiots about aging-- respect your elders... and realize that one day you'll be there too!

33. The professor looks good at 84! I remember about 20 years ago I bought a birthday card I thought was so funny. It read...."For your birthday I tried to find the answer to this question but could not.....If the Professor could make a microwave out of a coconut and Gilligan's hat.....(open card).....THEN WHY COULDN'T HE FIX THE BOAT!!!!

34. Even though you could pretty much memorize everyone's lines (after watching re-run after re-run), there was still hope that the Professor would come up with the right formula. So many memories......................
