Posted Nov 21st 2008 3:12PM by TMZ Staff

Bruce WIllisBruce Willis has learned a valuable lesson about rubbers.

Willis is suing a Malaysian company and the guys who run it after investing $2 million in what the suit calls "a revolutionary technology to produce devulcanised 'green rubber.'" The product is non-toxic and recyclable.

Short story -- Willis claims Elastomer Technologies and The Petra Group, run by HRH Prince Imran Ibni Tuanku Ja'afar and Datuk Vinod B. Sekhar (both common spelling) guaranteed that it was a "no risk" investment. In the lawsuit filed in Federal Court, Willis says he had a "put option," meaning he could demand his money back at any time.

Willis says he got $1,1000,000 back and is still owed $900,000.
