Sarah Palin -- Gobble, Gobble, Slaughter

It was the perfect metaphor for the McCain-Palin campaign. As Sarah Palin tried to do a good thing -- pardon a turkey -- a turkey farmer went all Marie Antoinette on a bird in the background.

Mildly disturbing? You betcha!

31. She has to be the dumbiest woman alive.. She talks on and on and says nothing. It is a good thing she had those stump speeches I see she has memorized. Now she feels confident in giving interviews because of them. Please make this lady go away.

35. I agree, Marilyn, she goes on and on and on and say's nothing, unless of course you count " I really appreciate"....endless times!

36. Only far-right wing religious hillbillies could find this interview within the range of "normalcy"!!!! Supposedly, she has a degree in journalism and, yet, cannot appropriately communicate and mentally construct a complete sentence. It's obvious why the Republican Party felt they needed to spend $150,000 on clothing to dress her as she truly has no more to offer than her has-been-looks as a second runner-up from a 25-year-old beauty contest. She has not a clue how she comes across to the greater percentage of wise and intelligent Americans. Please get away from the cameras, Sarah Palin, before you completely destroy your family.

38. The only turkey I see in this video is Palin. She's typically unaware of everything around her. What a freakin' air head.

39. The best way to watch Sarah Palin is to turn off the sound on the television. Read what she says in closed caption, then you can be really confused!!!
This woman makes my brain hurt!

40. For her red neck supporters, this is not a faux interview but the real deal of your substandard politician which has been on the mainstream news. Sarah Palin deserves the criticism as she narcissistically continues to hog the lights and camera to spew her total ignorance.

There were many attractive, classy, socially-aware, and authentically intelligent women in the Senate, but John McCain cowarded and permitted the right-wing of the Republican Party to push this socially-inept and evil woman on his ticket which mostly caused him the election.

41. I have a farm with cattle, goats, chickens, ducks, and other assorted animals. I find it amazing that she pardons a turkey(that to me does not look too healthy. He was so big that he had been pulling his chest around and lost most of his feathers off his breast, if you care to look. In his case it would have been kinder to put him out of his misery. Some commercial turkey/chicken sellers use hybrids that grow fast(and give antibotics them to make them form their own steroids, and if you let them live past their season, they suffer because they are too big to function properly. It is horrible.), and then poses in front of deheader turkery machine.
As for the fresh vs the frozen turkey. The frozen from the store are fresher than the fresh.(except if bought directly from a farm) because the fresh has been dead for about 3-4 weeks, the frozen is frozen immediately after death. It is up to you

43. Damn, it's just a bird, and its dead. No one heard it scream, right? It's not like we just a dog getting beheaded or anything. Lighten up...

44. That dude killing the turkeys looks like he enjoys his work just a little too much. Probably would of been Sec or Defense.

45. Since I usually travel the road not taken, my first thought seeing the video was "gee, Sarah Palin really IS addicted to her Mocha Moose coffee." Does Mocha Moose in Wasilla give her free coffee to promote their products?

As for the turkey slaughter they couldn't come up with a more cartoon looking character working there (lol.) It's even funnier watching the video without sound, looking at an oblivious Sarah Palin yapping away as Clem puts the turkeys in head first. My Foster Farms fresh turkey will taste great next Thursday!
