It's true ... The U.S. Supreme Court has been asked to review the 2004 Super Bowl breast incident that led to a $550,000 fine against CBS.
The FCC has asked the Supremes to review the case, after a Federal Appeals Court ruled the fine was bogus because the image on CBS was merely "fleeting."

17. There are way, way worse things on television then what Janet Jackson did. Beyond this, wasn't her nipple covered up? Therefore, it wasn't even full nudity. However, I see lots of this and down right awful language on television these days. Grow up, get over it and move on! Janet by all means has!

19. Here in SAN FRANCISCO, even during our gay/lesb. parade, men can show their naked butts, but women are not allowed to show their NIPPLES !
Women can show their boobies, & in order to prevent getting a ticket they put black tape over their nipples. It's so PURITANICAL (religious-based bigotry).
I'm queer so I don't know --- do straight men really lose control when they see a nipple? ;-)

20. Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake are just as responsible for this and should be the ones fined! I do not for an instant believe in a wardrobe malfunction! I saw it live, it was pretty clear that it was planned! Remember, Michael Jackson was on trial at the time for pedophile charges. My guess is that Janet wanted to take some of the negative attention off her pedophile brother Michael and on herself to help him out! Remember there is not one normal family member in that whole Jackson clan. They are pretty much out there and they will pretty much do anything to help one another out! Even the BIZARRE!

22. Janet did it on purpose. Justin was in on it, too. It should never happen again. The networks should ensure that. And the children should not be exposed to it, either. Get it together or pay the fine and shut up!
