31. No matter how good a football player he is I can't imagine any team picking him up. The endorsements for the team and players would go down. You would have to deal with all the angry players losing money because of him. It would be bad for the NFL and the owners as well. There are alot of dog lovers out there. Security for the players.

32. I hope if he doesnt get "taken care of" (for good) in jail, it happens quickly and very tortuously as soon as he gets out. He does not deserve to live and if he treats family pets or any animal like that, he won't think twice about harming a human. He has no right to live.

34. yeah that's really sick.....some of this stuff i don't even want to know about......the person who posted about the "rape rack" wtf.....so wrong!! i never even heard of this guy, but obviously this story is getting press because he was famous. that kind of crap happens all the time in big cities. disgusting.....don't wish him wrong because karma, 2 wrongs don't make a right, God will take care of him in time.....peace

35. Why don't we take Vick and people like him who hurt defenseless creatures and people and use them in place of the animals in the animal research institutes? How can you tell if a new medicine is going to hurt a human if it hurts a gerbil or beagle - we need people to be tested, right! Here is the answer. They are a waste of taxpayers money in jail... let's put them to some use so they can benefit society!!!! We can maybe say thanks to people like Vick for proving that a certain product is harmful to people. "Why yes, that shampoo isn't good for people. It dissolved poor Michael Vicks head ... and oh my gosh, he truly didn't have a brain in there!"

FROM ME, SANDRA BROOKS:- Yes, I, along with many others wish harm on him alright! I am fighting to have laws changed everyday to protect animals, and certainly our beloved pets, and VICK did not get the sentence that should have been applied to him. He got off way too easy. I for one, along with the KIM commenter will be of the many of people that will make sure he never gets back into the NFL. I really do wish lots of harm to him!! KARMA will get him it the end you ignorant commentor - It;s just a dog!

Your mentality is very backwards and outdated. Animals feel pain, they know fear and they are defenseless against the abuse that was handed out to them by this individual. It's a very ignorant way of thinking and I wish that you become more humane and have a voice for those who do not, animals...children and the elderly. I understand the outrage of people who are expressing themselves, I'm sure that they are wanting him to feel the torture that he placed on the defenseless animals. He has the same mentality as you do...IT'S JUST A DOG. So he obviously, as you, do not understand the what he has done is wrong. It obviously is wrong or he wouldn't be where he is right now. My hope for you....... You are able to feel empathy, it is important as a human being. Otherwise, you are no different them him.

41. I am sick of hearing the pervasive, continuing arguments that: animals (dogs in particular in this case) and blacks are misrepresented. Animals are less. It's just a dog. Who's making this argument? And blacks are misunderstood because, according to them, continually trashing their chance for a good life is the fault of anyone who isn't black. They do it to themselves continually. I'm not a racist, but I pay attention. And while the PacMans, Vicks, Kobe Bryants, etc. are given a chance many others will never have, they bring their potential life down to their level which is absolute sh__. They do it to themselves. Despite that we have a great man taking office, it will not behoove the black community because they don't want to better themselves. "Just give us things, including living beings, that we can destroy. Because we black and you a racist." I am sick of it. I have black coworker who is a dog lover and carries on and on about her family dog when she was little. Then about a week ago, she said her dad actually stole it out of a neighbor (white couple) yard. They stole their family pet from a white couple down the street. Then the couple came by asking questions and her dad lied and lied to keep the dog. HAHAHAHAAHA-it just fits!!!!

42. i thought this story couldn't get any worse...i hate this man so much---i don't know why he is even trying to get out of prison early cuz he is going to need security 24/7 when he is back out on the street. he is never going to have a normal life---and he doesn't deserve to. i have a pit bull that i rescued from a similar environment----everytime i hear another one of these stories i get all choked up. i wish there was some way to control who is allowed to be a pit bull owner because this breed attracts so many bad owners--but i guess that is just wishing the impossible=[

44. If this is his heritage then it needs to change. I'm born and raised in Virginia and I don't know of anywhere this is an accepted part of our culture. Cruelty to animals of any kind if wrong and to justify it by saying it's what you grew up with is cowardly and ignorant. That's like saying that if someone is abused as a child, then it's ok for them to abuse others. It's all a crime and should not be tolerated from anyone. And the fact that other innocent animals are tortured and killed because they are used as bait makes this activity all the more horrific. I'm glad he got caught because it put a spotlight on the issue of dogfighting. He deserves to not get his career back and to suffer the full consequences of his actions. As should anyone who thinks this is a sport and not the lesson in inhumanity that it really is.
