You Picked a Fine Time to Leave Me, Lucille

The 57-year-old resurfaced at a NYC event recently, looking untouched.
Lucie Arnaz
Lucie appeared on both of her mother's later shows, "The Lucy Show" and "Here's Lucy," and won an Emmy for "Lucy and Desi: A Home Movie."

According to IMDB, Arnaz was the first choice to play Rizzo in the 1978 film "Grease" but her mother would not let her take the role because Paramount Studios -- which had purchased Ball's company -- was producing the film.

46. What a dreadful comment to make about a beautiful, intelligent, and talented woman! The relationship she had with BOTH her parents was very strong. She was with both of her parents when they died. She has never said anything buy wonderful things about both of her very special parents. I saw her in a few broadway shows. She is talented, honest, and well adjusted. I don't know where you are going with your comment about her never saying anything nice about her mother. You are wrong.

48. Lucie looks great! Given all the secrets she hides behind those eyes.
There's a story that came out in September 2008.
http://www.nypost.com/seven/09022008/news/nationalnews/i_love_lucy__desi___because_they_were_my_127102.htm
and here is Lucy Ball's Granddaughter and the niece Lucie "Refuses" to
accept.
www.myspace.com/cassandriac talk about how Madeline (Lucie's oldest
sister) looks just like Lucie. Scary!!!!

49. I hope both the hidden nieces Julia and Cassandria get on here and spout off how their aunt will never accept them or acknowledge them. It took Madeline's daughter to bring out the family garbage. I read on her myspace she's filing (a concealing of identity) case against both Arnaz kids. They can't fight her because if they do they will be disinherited per Lucille Ball's will. These two nieces deserve their place in the family after all they were the ones who suffered the most. Selfish, selfish, selfish people

50. I don't really see the resemblance in either of the two also, but no big deal.
I think she looks great!
I also do not remember her as being a very good actress; a little flat in her performances. Just because you're born to actors doesn't mean you're naturally going to be a good actor or star.
Best to her, and to all, a safe and happy holiday!

53. Cassiandra, don't give up, ever. It is so obvious that your mother is Lucille's daughter...look at the picture of Lucie and your mom. I know a lot of things happened in the 43's; switching of names; baby certificates, identifications. It makes me sick that Lucille Ball would drop your mom for her career. Really does. Even in this day in age, I still see it.
Good luck with DNA results. I'll be watching and listening.
I think it's very rude, distasteful and SAD that none of Lucille and Dezi's children want to get down to the truth; they'd rather hide and spend their parents's fortune than to embrace a blood family member like you and your lovely children. But then again, sadly, they were raised by Lucille and Dezi...and we already know what they did with your mom.

54. She's very, very HOT. . . . . have always wondered what it would be like to spend a MONTH with her.

55. Lucy is prettier now than ever before! I sure miss her mom, she was a class act!

56. Lucie Arnaz looks FABULOUS now! I saw her in a few movies in the '80s and some of her mother Lucille Ball's later shows. She has some of her mother's facial features, especially the nose and face.

57. She looks great! And I think she looks alot like her father.
And Hey Mikey! You suck!

58. She wasn't adopted. If you look at a photo of her brother, Desi Arnez, jr. they favor each other....they both seem to look more like their father.

59. I find it very sad that all these people wish to live in the shadow of these two very great (and long dead) people? If this chain of events is true about these people claiming to be grand children, nieces, daughters, etc.... the list is so long I can't even folow who they claim to be? its apparent that Lucille Ball did not wish, never wanted to publicly claim any of these people for her own reasons whatever they may be??? I have a similer situation in not knowing my real father, only I am sure my real father is not some famous wealthy person, but I really do not know.....I have absolutely no interest in finding this man or knowing him, his relatives or anything connected to him, nor would it be right to hunt these people down after 40 years? you have many people posting these claims on here to spread it around, (surrogates) to embarrass the Ball children into complying with their demands, I assume? just live your life and leave it alone, unless the money is driving you??
