You Picked a Fine Time to Leave Me, Lucille

The 57-year-old resurfaced at a NYC event recently, looking untouched.
Lucie Arnaz
Lucie appeared on both of her mother's later shows, "The Lucy Show" and "Here's Lucy," and won an Emmy for "Lucy and Desi: A Home Movie."

According to IMDB, Arnaz was the first choice to play Rizzo in the 1978 film "Grease" but her mother would not let her take the role because Paramount Studios -- which had purchased Ball's company -- was producing the film.

61. Doesn't look like either of her parents? Are you kidding??? She looks exactly like Desi! Coloring, features... I even see a bit of her Mother in her. She's always seemed like a classy lady to me, and a smart one, too. She's been married to one man for a long time, and they seem to have a really good, loving, stable relationship, which is rare in Hollywood, and which her Mother and Father never managed to attain. Brava Lucie!

62. Jay, Cassandria was aknowledged by Lucy Ball. She named her studio Casandra's was the lot on RKO studio where Lucy and Desi met at the commisary. Lucianna is her middle name-again her grandmother named her. Madeline was named after Lucille Ball's most prized imaginary friend. There's just so much. It's not that Lucy didn't love Madeline or Cassandria she did. She provided for them. Cassandria and her children suffer from genetic disorders that Lucy had and needs more information. No money was ever requested, just medical information. Lucie denied Cassandria three times to gain access. Now she will be in the courts and be put in her spot and the Arnaz kids will not fight her. They can't for what Brenda said is accurate and very true. It will be interesting to see how Lucie tries to bring this out. Here's the thing kids. If you were related to the world's funniest tv couple don't kid yourself...you would want the name also. Cassandria and Julia are both writing books and both have similar tales. The exception is Cassandria knew her grandmother, Julia was quite slated in that respect. There's so much more that is coming out as the press gets ahold of the court case that Brenda mentioned. Brenda please contact me as I am curious as to how you know so much, unless you are part of the Carlson camp. You can reach us at carlson_pr@comcast.net. I am part of her team and would love to learn more about you. We could use additional sleuthers.
