Kathy Cox may be smarter than a 5th grader, but she's now just as broke as one.
Kathy won $1 million on "Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader" in September. But here's the deal. She donated her winnings to charity, banking on her husband's construction biz which apparently had been running just fine. But his construction company tanked with the economy, and now they've declared bankruptcy.
Another happy George W memory. 57 days and counting.

141. It's George Bush's fault? Congress, not the President, is charged with oversight of the banking industry specifically, and business in general. TMZ, what party has controlled Congress for the last two years? (Since you're too busy stalking Lindsey Lohan, I'll answer for you: the Democrats). This didn't happen while the Republicans controlled Congress for six years--it happened on the Democrats' watch.
Maybe the political experts at TMZ should just stick to collecting photos of brainless celebutards picking their noses. Like Dirty Harry said: a man's got to know his limitations.

145. God, it always amazes me how stupid so many people are. It's truly a wonder that most of this country isn't blind from looking at the big glowing orange ball in the sky.
The intellectually challenged see on their magic moving picture boxes that the President is bad, so it must be true. Bigfoot caused the financial problems, said so up on the TV, so it must be true.
If I really pushed the idea that Elvis is alive, it was just a conspiracy to fake his death so that the CIA could use him to assassinate Kennedy, after sending him back in time in the time machine that the government is keeping from us.
