16. They are not making it easy in other ways also - their website hasn't worked all day.
And when you go to the website and click on the promo for the free Dr. Pepper, you are taken to another website to "sign up" - except there you only fill in your name, zip code, and email address - so I am assuming that you have to respond with whatever they send you in email to give them your actual address maybe? But it doesn't really matter, because for the last 4 hours, the info on that page will not even transmit because their servers keep crashing out.

They've known about this for a while now. They could have set up mirrors and brought in some more servers to handle the traffic, instead they made it nearly impossible for most people to even claim their free reward. Kinda sounds like they set it up like this so they wouldn't have to pay up.

19. What a bunch of whiners. It's a free item. It's been advertised all over the internet. Of course the website is going to have heavy traffic. If you really want one, keep trying to log in. I signed up for mine 3 hours after it opened with zero problems..

21. In the late 90's M&M candies had a contest to "Win a Year's Supply of M&M's" if you opened a bag that had a gray M&M. Lo and behold DID open a bag with a gray M&M! Just like when Charlie found the golden ticket in 'Willie Wonka'! I thought I would receive a giant box thru UPS or something....Ha! I got an envelope with a stack of COUPONS for individual bags of M&M's. Not only was it lame-azz coupons, but each one was dated to only be good from one certain date to another, so I could only get one pack at a time on the dates specified. What a rip. I never bothered to cash in any of the coupons..............

23. I knew the site would get over loaded and crash today

thats why I did it at 4am
had no issues....should get my coupon whenever they ship out

but it still sucks...thought the offer was 1 can/bottle for "everyone"....now its just 1 can per household (and they get your email and mailing address in their system to spam you with in the future)
...hell the cost of mailing out the coupons is gonna be more then the few cents it takes to make a bottle of Dr. Pepper

you could have gotten alot more free press if you had someone at every grocery store handing out a bottle or coupon to everyone for a few hrs today...probably cost them less too...or make a deal with some of the fastfood resturants
the cost of foutain drinks is only a couple pennys (the cups cost more then the syrup they use to make it)

26. just went to the Dr. pepper
site , 6 more hours to register to get your coupon, but it crashed as soon as i was done filling out my info. FYI, you can go to Guns and Roses myspace page and there they have all 14 tracks of the new cd, there you can listen to them and decide weather or not you want to buy it.

28. I wasn't able to get my coupon either. I made a copy of the error and emailed them (took an HOUR for the Contact Us page to work). I sent them a copy of the error and said I hoped they would honor it. They should have tested the site before today. Stupid Dr. Pepper.
