MC Breed Passes Away

31. Rest Peacefully Eric. He was a personal friend of mine and a very talented writer. From "No Future..." to "Seven Years" and numerous other hits he gave 100%. He visited us in Dallas when he and others were launching Pharmacy records early 2001, and I seen my man Breed rip the crowd like it was 91'. We rode around the next day and he signed autographs and chopped it up with everyone that approached him. Down to earth? Definitely! Real? Definitely. Deserve the attrocious crticism a couple of you peeps put out? Not at all. All the fans let his legacy linger, and to the Bred fam in flint and Detroit, ur in our prayers. Peace

I've read through some of these comments and the ones that have no sincerity or general compassion or concern, all I have to say is that its a shame how some people raise their children for them to even say insanely rude things at this time. I live in Flint and always have.......MC Breed is someone we are proud of and the song "aint no future in yo frontin" is one of my all time favorite jams. It is truly a loss for all of us to lose him in this world and I am getting more and more resentful of great people dying young.

33. I'm no racist (I'm white); in fact, I was deeply saddened by the recent deaths of Bernie Mac and Isaac Hayes, to name a couple. However, I'm not exactly going to cry over the death of this piece of sheet. ("MC Breed") Mc Breed was a thug, gangsta-rapper whose so-called "music" was a negative influence on today's impressionable youth. And get this, I used to love hip-hop back when it wasn't glorifying violence, drugs, etc. but alas that golden era is no more. And wasn't MC Breed not only rapping about crime but a criminal himself? Didn't he owe a sheetload in back child support? What an irresponsible LOSER. I'm glad this POS is 6 feet under, where he belongs. I wish 50 would've died several years ago too (too bad the cat that shot him had bad aim lol) There are way too many negative "role models" out there, and it's a shame.

For all you who dont know who he is...........Eric Breed aka MC Breed was a man that crossed hip hop boundries when rappers couldnt play both sides ......He had Real friends on the east coast and the west coast and crossed both sides without a problem........Hw was one of the cooliest people you would ever meet and I'm glad to call him a family friend and the city of FLINT will make it a national holiday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

36. Hip-hop has lost another legend. MC Breed was one of the best rappers to come out of the state of Michigan. I send my condolences out to his family.

37. One of most fluid MC's that flowed with finess, along with Pac ( I Got To Get Mine You Gotta Get Yours) He will truly be missed!!!! RIP
