McDonald's Sued Over Woman's Naked Buns

McDonald's is known for its cheap meat -- but after a bad trip to the burger joint, one guy's wife allegedly became cheap meat.

McD's just got served by a guy who allegedly left his cell phone -- which contained nude photos of his wife -- at the Arkansas restaurant, only to find the nude pics posted online.

Phillip Sherman was assured by employees they'd keep the phone safe, yet the photos -- along with Sherman's phone number and address -- somehow found their way onto the Internet.

The couple claims they had to move to a new house to get away from his wife's new stalkers. Sherman wants 3 mil for their troubles.

46. ok, instead of assuming it's a scam, lets look at what we know here.
He left his phone at a Micky D's
his images and personal info from that phone ended up on the web.
he as able to Find that info on the web
he wants 3 mil for pain and suffering

here's the reality of it
1, he must show beyond a reasonable doubt that the McDonalds corporation was responsible for what happened.
2, he must Prove pain and Suffering due to this ( you cant go house shopping and move in a couple of days, It just dont happen).
3, he must Prove that the branch of McDonalds did in fact call him stating they would secure his phone and it's contents
4, he must Prove that the images and his info were posted by Mcdonalds employees.

In all too many of these BS wastes of Taxpayer money, they always fail to think about the details. I hope McDonalds wins and Sues HIM for slander and Libel.

No, I am not a lawyer but I did stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night.

48. SO wait -- let me get this straight? You take X-rated pix of your wife, "accidentally" leave your phone at McD, and then hope to collect $3 million as a result? LMAO! I'll bet people all over the country are taking pix right now and trying to decide where exactly to "misplace" them. GET REAL!

49. OK everyone they are not sueing MCD's the corporation their sueing the franchise owner of this McDs who IS responsible for their emplyees actions AND they are sueing the Manager who told them that HE would secure the phone Manager Aaron Brummley this happened in July so the fact that their only sueing these indivduals shows they have evidence of bad behavior through data/transfer records ect... The moment the manager said he would secure the phone he took the liability as did the Franchise owner because Brummley was his employee....

50. My question is:

How did they find out that the pics were posted online? Who was looking for porn?

51. RE: Kay - "This is as bad as the woman who sued - and won - when she spilled her hot coffee on herself and got burned. Why should anyone profit from their own carelessness?"

We studied that case in law school, and you should really read it before making comments. That woman had second and third degree burns on her vagina, and McDonald's had been warned numerous times that the temperature of their coffee was dangerous. They had already paid out for people who ad burns in their lips and tongues for sipping it, so that case actually had merit. As for this one... that's what you get for having naked pictures on your phone.

52. how do we know that he did not put up pics first and then blame Mickey D's. How easy to blame them. Looks like they needed money and are now framing Mc Donalds.

53. This one smells. There are literally millions of websites out there that would allow people to post user content. The man leaves his cell phone at a Mickey D's, then calls later to inform them that he left it, and in the interim the photos are uploaded somewhere and then posted online? If anyone is buying that one, I'd love to sell them a Yugo for $30,000, since they are now officially an antique, if you can find one that runs, that is.

This one can be verified very easily. Those photos could only have been uploaded through the man's cell service provider, if the phone never left the McDonald's. The uploads can easily be traced to where they were sent.

Three million? T&A is a dime a dozen online these days. What's so special about his wife's buns? Come to think of it, I'm kinda craving a big Mac now.

Two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, onion, on a sesame seed bun. Now that's sexy...

56. I agree with number 10.

I would like to add that wherever the photos ended up on line - they are traceable to the owner of the account on the site they uploaded them to. That account may shed some light on exactly who uploaded the photos.

58. Why in the world would you just fire ALL of the employees for something that is so obviously a scam? How would you feel being an honest worker in an already thankless job in an economy that sucks right now and suddenly you're out of a job because someone else (if, in fact, it was an employee who leaked the the pictures) did something dishonest? That logic totally sucks.

60. Has anyone learned from Paris Hilton?! DO NOT LEAVE NUDES ON YOUR PHONE.....

Nothing good comes from this. HELLO people!

and if you are going to have NUDES, you better not forget your phone, because someone with the wrong intentions will find it.

what if someone else from the McD's had found it, i'm sure you wouldn't be getting 3 mil.

DAMN SCAMERS!

Hope they get nothing!
