McDonald's Sued Over Woman's Naked Buns

McDonald's is known for its cheap meat -- but after a bad trip to the burger joint, one guy's wife allegedly became cheap meat.

McD's just got served by a guy who allegedly left his cell phone -- which contained nude photos of his wife -- at the Arkansas restaurant, only to find the nude pics posted online.

Phillip Sherman was assured by employees they'd keep the phone safe, yet the photos -- along with Sherman's phone number and address -- somehow found their way onto the Internet.

The couple claims they had to move to a new house to get away from his wife's new stalkers. Sherman wants 3 mil for their troubles.

62. Ok, perhaps it is a person's own issue for leaving his phone behind. Regarless, if you drop your personal property, it doesn't give the right to the person who found it the right to do what they want with your personal information does it? I feel bad that McDonalds has unethical employees that would use someones personal property and post it on the internet but if it was your own ID or even social security card that was lost, would you expect it posted on the internet? Just because you forget something or lose something, it doesn't suddenly make it the property of someone else to do with as they please. I find a wallet and maybe decide to get a job because now I have a new ID card and maybe the guy looks something like me and I decide to use his bankcard to make purchases. Some concept, it's his personal property and everyone should respect a person's privacy. The employees had no right to do what they did, and it is a shame that McDonalds will need to pay the price for acts commited by employees of it's corporation.

Couple Not Lovin’ It In McDonald’s Lawsuit

FAYETTEVILLE — A Bella Vista couple has sued McDonald’s for at least $3 million after nude photographs of the woman were allegedly taken off her husband’s misplaced cell phone and posted on the Internet.

Phillip and Tina Sherman say Phillip left his cell phone at McDonald’s on Sixth Street in Fayetteville on July 5. Tina Sherman then began receiving offensive calls and text messages about the pictures, then learned her pictures, which she had sent her husband, had been posted online along with her name, address and phone number.

The Web site allegedly described how McDonald’s employees retrieved the pictures from a phone left at the restaurant.

Before the pictures and information could be taken down, Tina Sherman began receiving threats and lewd, explicit and obscene text messages and phone calls from strangers who had seen the site. There were also similar comments posted on the Web site, according to the suit.
The suit names McDonald’s Corp., Matthews Management Co. and a manager, Aaron Brummley. Employees of the restaurant had allegedly promised to secure the cell phone, turn it off and safeguard it until Phillip Sherman could retrieve it.

Here's what happened - they didn't find her pix online - the employees were harassing her.

64. The incident happened July 5th people. - I'm PRETTY sure that constitutes for more than "a couple of days". The story was printed recently, probably after the couple went through all the legal b/s with their lawyers and McDonald's lawyers.

TMZ - you really should research a bit more before you post a story online like this. You left out a LOT of the details.

66. Those of you commenting about the McDonalds coffee case obviously aren't in possession of the full facts of the case.

67. Ok, so none of us know for sure how the pics actually got online, just how they allegedly got there. We dont know for sure that the phone records were obtained before filing the lawsuit. There are a lot of unknowns with this case to point a finger either way. If it turns out to be the employees that did the posting they should pay, if it turns out to be a scam the couple should pay for their ignorance.
And I still dont understand how this is Bush's fault. THIS he had no part in I'm sure.

68. 15. How do we really know they didn't post the pictures on the Internet themselves, then leave their phone at McD's in order to later seek damages by claiming that a store employee posted them?

There is such a thing called a *TIME STAMP* and it is used to Verify the DATE the images were Taken AND Posted, DOH as Homer Simpson 'says"

69. Did it ever occur to anyone to look this story up from a RELIABLE news source? The reason they knew the pics were online is because they were receiving harassing phone calls in which they were informed the pics were online. The only thing left to determine for that franchise to actually be liable is if the pics were posted before or after they were informed the phone was secured.

Come on people...we should all know that TMZ falls short when it comes to reporting a FULL story. Of course it sounds fishy on here....look who wrote it.

70. Also, some of you make the claim of "finders keepers". With that mentality no wonder our society is crap. People make mistakes. This gentleman made a mistake. Just because he forgot his cell phone does not make it right for it to be stolen and misused, especially when there is a means to simply return it. Same as if you lose your wallet....you hope that some good Samaritan finds it and returns it to you with everything in tact. As far as him having pictures of his wife on his phone, so what? So if you lose your wallet and someone finds your social and steals your identity, that makes it your fault and not the fault of the identity thief?

71. why did he have nude photos on his stupid cell phone......he got what he deserved.......

72. @#62- by me
I'm so tired of you people complaining about TMZ. If you don't believe they are reliable, why do you keep coming to the site and reading the stories? Why don't you go to one of the "RELIABLE" sites, and read their stories, instead of gripeing about this one?
As for the story:
It sounds like these people are just trying to make a quick buck. If you do something stupid, like putting nude pics on a phone, you have only yourself to blame. If the guy down the street found the phone, and posted the pics, would they sue him for 3 mil? I think not.

73. He may own a smart phone but he is a dumbass. How can they restaurant and it's employees be blamed. By the way folks you may purchase a phone but the company you have a contract with can take it back at any time.

74. This is a total scam. Of all the pictures of naked women online, ahat are the chances he'd just stumble upon pictures of his wife?

75. I would like get some fries and a burger, make that a cheese burger oh yeah!!! do you have a nasty naked ugly old chick on a phone for me? If not tell me what site can I see it for free!
