was a major league baseball player back in the day-check it out
very obviously French by the middle name Pierre! and in French LaCock isn't a name so someone tried to Anglosized it obviously and spell it how they thought it sounded
not sure if you check his birth certificate of you will find that spelling there-more likely the French one and TMZ is in error here
quite a few with the French surname here in Canada

14. He named his son Pete....Pete La Cock...who played first base for the Chicago Cubs in the 1976 era. Yes a Professional baseball player....he probably had to become athtletic as a kid with a name like that.
