Stepmama to Whitney -- I Have Nothing!

A dead patriarch, a fight over money from his will -- it sounds like an episode of "Dallas," but it's a real life battle between Whitney Houston and her stepmom.

According to a lawsuit filed by Barbara Houston back in May, Whtiney was the beneficiary of her departed dad's $1 million life insurance policy, but the money was earmarked to pay off a mortgage on her dad's apartment -- Barbara says she was supposed to get the remaining proceeds as well as title to the property. Stepmama says she hasn't gotten bubkiss from Whitney.

In true Whitney fashion -- she denies everything.

16. Stepmom should know Whitney ain't giving up that money. Whitney's broke. Smoked up all that she had. Guess daddy didn't love stepmom all that much.

17. TMZ Geniuses: The word is "bupkis", not "bubkiss". Learn how to write, why don't you?

18. If her father wanted the wife to have any money he would have left it to her and not Whitney the BENEFICIARY!!!!

19. This is a stupid lawsuit if all the facts have been disclosed which I believe is not. I'm sure that will be exposed in court. haha. Basically when a will is drawn an executor is named and carries out the intentions of the will. A beneficiary and executor can be the same party which is assumed is Whitney Houston. As others said why wasn't her step mom named executor?? Doesn't make sense if he wanted her to have all the moola. Then Whitney's role would be irrelevant yet she's named the executor so doesn't make sense. Something smells like a rat. LOL.

20. Page four is missing from the PDF and is crucial to the plaintiff's allegations. How can TMZ readers understand all of the statement of claim against Ms. Houston if TMZ does not include the entire document in the PDF?
