It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like KKKristmas!

Burning CrossNothing says Season's Greetings like a burning cross on your front lawn!

The American Family Association -- a hate group disguised as an ultra-right wing Christian organization -- wants to usher in the holiday spirit by selling this nearly six foot tall scary lookin' lighted cross. I'm dreaming of a white Christmas.

The evil '50s throwback is available on their website for just 82 hate-filled dollars "and requires only a screwdriver" to assemble.

47. The cross stands for forgiveness and the greatess gift one can receive at Christmas is the gift that was given. Many Many years ago. The birth of a baby given as a gift so we could have eternal life and forgiveness. Christmas is about faith in the one who gives internal life and the baby given so long ago. There is no hate in this cross only Love born of faith.

48. When I burn crosses, I don't set a poinsettia next to it. It's proudly on my front lawn! God Bless the South!

49. The only problem I have with that cross is the group who is selling it. The American Family Association.
There is nothing about that group that is in line with anything Jesus preached. They are a bunch of self righteous bigots.
I wouldn't buy a screw driver from them let alone a cross, or a pencil.

51. Christmas is a Christian holiday and the celebration of the birth or our savior, Jesus Christ. I know good people who display beautiful crosses at Christmas time. It's not about Santa and presents. It's about Christ. TMZ is the hater, not the American Family Association. You need to issue an apology and stick to what you know: fluff.

52. A cross is NOT a sign of hate.

That is just a beautiful reminder of what Christmas is- a celebration of Jesus and him dying for our sins even though we are undeserving.

Some people need to get a life and quit trying to cause drama.

54. Hey I have a few questions:
1. Does it burn?
2. Do I get a cool white hat with it?

55. Nick, are you kidding me? What part of an individual putting up a Cross on their front lawn for Thanksgiving or Christmas has anything whatsoever to do with the Seperation between Church and State? What part of putting a Cross on ones lawn subjectspeople to Church doctorine? Those who are religious have the same right to show their faith, as nonreligious people have to show their nonbeiliefs. You are using standard liberal arguments that are false. Those on the left believe certain things, and those on the right believe others. Now there people on both sides who take things to the extreme but do not represent their side as a whole. However, what Liberals often do is criticize Christians and those on the right (not that christians are only on the right) for being intollerant of their view points and chastise them for trying to shove their beliefs and world view down everyones throat. The problem is, what they don't seem to realize that while doing this, they are doing the exact things they criticize the right for; being intollerant for the views held by the right and chastising them for not having the same world view as the Liberals. So, as far as I can tell by their actions, what Liberals really mean (whether conciously or subconciously) when they say the right needs to be more toletant or accepting of others' views, is those on the right need to abandon their beliefs and take on those of the left...otherwise they are bigots

57. This has nothing to do with hate. Jesus is the reason for the season. Must be a slow gossip day.

C'mon, TMZ! Stick to the other crap you usually report!

59. that wasn't even worth putting on your webpage. don't give these type of people anymore publicity. they are sick people who think sick and disgusting things. the very, very sad part is that there will be people out there who will actually buy this. and why all of a sudden are we being subjected to this type of "Christmas" ornament? lord help anyone who tries to light that thing on their lawn.

60. Just a little food for thought... WHY do people hold the cross sacred anyhow? The cross was an instrument used to torture and kill Jesus. Why is it celebrated? I don't see anyone celebrating any crowns of thorns, whips, or spears. How about if everyone forgets all the idol worship and just worship the man himself and the sacrifice he made.
