1. A very Brave man in a very Liberal Hollywood.

2. As a 23 year old Republican I was just shocked when I saw that my age group voted like 80% for Obama. It makes me think that they actually listen to celebrities when deciding their vote. Anyways I hope Obama proves me wrong and I wish him nothing but the best.

3. It's astounding that about 75% of people who vote Republican think they're voting for the Republican party as it was in the 1970's, that slightly right of center party. BUT THAT PARTY DOESN'T EXIST!

Read: "The Shock Doctrine" by Naomi Klein, look it up at Amazon.com and search Amazon's "Listomania" feature to see how the topic explodes: the amazing corruption of banks and the Bush Adminstration's subsurvience to corporate raiders, the erosion of individual rights, due process and accountability in the face of the blind promotion of the corporate religion. And there's much much more.

Only a FOOL with nothing more than knee-jerk reactions would think that to oppose these problems means you're to be dismissed as some kind of left-wing freak. The Republican Party was hijacked and it's in need of total recreation.

And forget "God" and "Jesus" as part of the Republican Party toolkit, YOU JUVENILE MORONS!!!!

I don't know where Kelsey Grammer is on this, and I don't care. I'm talking the big picture. The United States is definately under attack and it's not the unwashed cave dwellers who are bringing down the nation, FOR CRYING OUT LOUD ALREADY!!! Paulson doesn't want anyone to know where the $700 billion is going! Gee, are you just going to sit there and take that? Have you any idea how Washington is supposed to work? Honestly, it's time to take Bush and Cheney out behind a barn for a talk.

4. AN HONEST MAN IN HOLLYWOOD?
I thought this was all about what these "wing nuts" always stressed.....the freedom to express your opinions.
I guess that doesn't work everywhere. Jump on the band wagon all you Lemmings.

5. All those who claim the republican party is dead needs to rethink. I read a report that more than 85 percent of the blacks who voted for bammie do not know ANYTHING that he stands for and what he said he would do. Thank GOD, he changed his mind about change and is merely going to appoint retard retreads from the clintonistas. The next best thing to bammie's change. This retreat from his campaign promises only point to appeasement, not Marxism as promised. YOU liberals did not get what you wanted. YOU liberals did not get what you wanted with pelosi and reid either, the worst unmatched pair and leaders of the worst congress in American history. What a mess you ignorant liberals and young malcontents voted into office

6. Being a conservative will be a criminal offense in the years to come if Hollywood has anything to say about it. They will not tolerate any dissention or opposing viewpoints, which by itself is unAmerican.

7. With Obama installing veteran Washington insiders and former Clinton officials into his new Cabinet, Kelsey should have asked the pap, "Where's the Change'?

8. Did Kelsey honestly believe that liberals really are tolerant, open-minded people who celebrate the diversity of opinion?

Silly, silly man.

9. Just because one is a celebrity does not mean one rises above the rest of the country. But I don’t think that is what Hollywood is thinking when it helped Obama win – that they will have perks and that they will rule. That Washington is now an extension of Hollywood. Hopefully Obama will keep Celebrities in their place or will he have the White House Hollywood Motel (party central) like Clinton. Let’s hope he has more integrity.

10. There is a differnce between Republican and Conservative, I am a Conservative which is what a majority of Republicans used to be, but now they think they would rather be liked by the media so they sell out their beliefs and party. But I still say Obama is OUR President and he works for us too, so when he is doing or going to do something that goes against our beliefs or is bad for this country we should stand up and voice or opinion and fight it just like the liberal democrats do. The liberal homosexuals/lesbians (I am taking back the word GAY to it's original meaning HAPPY) did not agree with Prop 8 and they are fighting it even though a mojority of the people agree with it. Thats the way we need to be aginst them and others. Get some balls republicans and get back to our conservative values or keep losing elections.

11. #9 gezz who pissed in your coffee this morning? I hope your day is all UP FROM HERE !!!

I voted for Obama ( it is so silly to try to make fun of this guy with stupid names " bammie ", I hope you are a bigger person than that ) . The man just got to office - even though he has over a month to put his plan into action he is doing what he can now.

Also, the statment that 85% of African Americans dont know what they voted for is just crazy- there is no way he would have won without the votes other of people of different ages and races ,so is every one wrong ???

OK,Im done...........

Hope all can chill and enjoy Turkey Day - Peace........

12. Hollywood and celebrities. You republicans are still blaming others, instead of yourselves. Hollywood, celebrities, the media, etc., DID NOT win Obama the election. For the thousandth time, the man won because Americans' felt he was the best man for the job. Just because you don't agree, doesn't mean the rest of us must have some other reason for voting for Obama. And who in the hell, listens to celebrities anyway? I gurantee you that if not one celebrity liked Obama, he still would have won! GET OVER IT!!
As for the story: The inauguration is like a huge party for the winner. I wouldn't invite people to my party, who I know don't like me, or if I don't like them. That's life!

++++++++++

This sounds like the same arguments made by liberals after George W. Bush got into office - that his supporters were taken in by his words and didn't realize what he really stood for, etc.

These arguments are empty rhetoric and mean nothing. The proof is in the pudding. After eight years of Bush, the country is so sick of him and his cronies that even the candidates from his own party didn't want him to be associated with their campaigns. If after 4 or 8 years Obama's administration looks only half as bad as Bush's, Obama will look like a f*cking hero in comparison.

Also, Kelsey Grammer is a liar. The fact is that he doesn't want to attend the inauguration; instead, he just wants to pretend he's being discriminated against so he can make a false case against the new administration.

*****

Hahahahahahaha. You are so brainwashed by right-wing spew that your brain turned off.

If the people who voted the Democrats into power in Congress in 2006 didn't get what they wanted in Pelosi and Reid, then why are they happy with these leaders and why did they vote even more Democrats into Congress in 2008?

Here's how your brain works: "Democrat means bad bad bad bad bad. Republican means good good good good good. Don't make me confused by asking me to explain my reasoning or by showing me any facts which disprove what I want to believe."
