YAWN. Vergie wanted to rescue DL from the grip HKS had on her . That's it. Vergie has every right to protect her grandchild; no court in the land would dare to rule against this wonderful woman. As far as understanding the lawsuit , nope, never read it, don't need to pretend to be a lawyer, like SOME PEOPLE around here.

Grandparents have no legal rights to their grandchildren. Estranged relatives are always suspect.
Three Courts in two countries have ruled against VA. No reason to believe TX Courts are out of sync with reality.

Well, you got one of the three Courts. I was talking about Courts that had specifically dealt with VA's requests for ANS's body or the custody/guardianship of DL. In her State lawsuit, VA is claiming HKS and bloggers and others damaged her reputation in such a way as to interfere with her chances in Court when she had been a party to an action. Daniel's Inquest or the HKS v. O'Q lawsuit are not relevant here.
1- Seidlin's Court said VA was not truthful and had a clear financial motive. DL named ANS's next of kin for burial purposes.
2- FL Appeals Judges upheld Seidlin's decision.
3- Bahamian Supreme Court Justices decided against VA having custody or guardianship of DL as a temporary ruling until a final hearing. Could even add a fourth Court because VA appealed the decision and tried to force the Courts to keep DL in the country until that final hearing and an Appeals Court Judge ruled against her on that issue as well.
VA was not a party to the Bahamian Inquest nor the HKS v. O'Q defamation lawsuit. Every time VA has come before a Court she has lost. VA is suing in Federal and State Court claiming HKS and CBS and blogs and bloggers and others caused her not to receive rights she never had in Court in the first place and which Courts in two countries have reaffirmed that she did not have and could not have.

He should have gotten an emmy and the 'APPEALS COURT JUDGE---hahahhahhaha wasn't he the 'POT SMOKIN'Judge ? Before he stepped down after being caught tokin up at a PARK? Musta been some good chit.
Lastly , the BAHAMIAN COURT of CORRUPTION , please. NO COMMent.

Oh my...
No, the pot smoking Judge was not on the FL Court of Appeals. A 3 member panel of the Appeals Court decided that Seidlin's decision was correct even though his reasoning was off.
I can't imagine how someone writes off an entire Country's Judicial system, but at any rate, the point is moot. The Bahamas does not recognize grandparents' rights; same holds true in each of the 50 States in the USA.
