anyone who doesn't believe in these words isn't a true christian. bryant isn't a true christian. i'm not christian, but if i was i would be sick and tired of people using christianity for their own false, personal agendas (i.e. taking the lord's name in vain). the bible does not condone the unequal treatment of gays and the bible was written by MEN who had their own agendas; jesus didn't address homosexuality and the bible never speaks of lesbians, so lesbians aren't committing any sin according to the bible.

you have to take the bible in context according to the time period in which it was written. please let's not get started on all of the other things that the bible says are sins. and let's not even get into what the bible has to say about women; it condemns women and condones their unequal treatment and slave status much more than it even mentions male homosexuality. thank god for separation of church and state because it's the main reason we've come out of the dark ages, unlike many middle eastern countries.

Normal individuals discern right from wrong. Gay individuals are the WEAK who yield to overpowering abnormal appeal or desire. 52. Anita was against the ordinance in Dade County because private schools would have had to hire gays. Anita never loathed gay people and had and has many gay friends. To David 079, it is an absolute LIE that Anita ever started a campaign or used the term Kill a Queer for Christ, that would be completely offensive to her as it would be to most.

58. What an ugly human being. Not Christian at all. I actually am pretty embarrassed to share the religious beliefs of some of the ignorant hate-filled monsters commenting on here as well.. I know that, as a Christian, my faith in Jesus is very strong, and I have an enlightened understanding of right and wrong.. I also keep an open mind to other religions, and the people who are passionate about them, as well as people with morals where no religion applies.
Jesus loves us all: the devout, the lost, the sinners, the whores.. THAT is what His sacrifice was about. Anybody that takes pride in the discrimination of a group of people is wrong. Claiming that one has a choice in who they love, and that an effort should be made to conform to one religious ideal is not only wrong, but completely un-American. There is no better reasoning for the separation of church and state than Christians thinking they are American, while everyone else is not. How is it that the most conservative poiticians that rally against homosexuality are the ones that wind up in scandals dealing with just that?? Those of you with hate in your hearts for fellow human beings are most likely dealing with some pretty dark demons within yourselves. Luckily, even you will be forgiven.
