62. doesn't religion say that let he who has not sinned cast the first stone. i see so much hate here in these posts. in one breath you say i'll pray for them and in the next breath you are speaking of negative and hateful things. you can't do both.. we as a human beings should learn from our past mistakes and move on to trying to be better people tomorrow than we were today. if not we are destined to repeat our mistakes. good luck in your journey to being a better person. thanks for giving me a chance to speak from my heart.

You are a very sick, sick person. And you have a very disturbed mind for thinking about sex acts when looking at any person. Do you think of your parents this same way. You really have a problem and should get some help. It is unhealthy to be thinking of sex all the time. 68. it is obvious that the writer of this left leaning article is gay. I noticed the word "hate" used here,
I was with Anita Bryant on several occasions when she spoke out on the repeal.
She NEVER used the word hate...in fact she DIDN'T hate anyone.
She prayed for the gays, but didn't think it was right for them to have minority status.

I agree with that..Just because a person is sexually perverted and likes to perform sexual acts that are against nature,
they shouldn't be given minority status... that's the same thing as giving a peeping tom or porno addict minority status..
after all THEY aren't hurting anyone either, are they...
If I was an African American or any other minority, I would be outraged that a person that loves same-sex sodomy would be classed with ME...
I don't know if anyone realizes this, but there REALLY aren't that many gay people out there...just a few with alot of money and loud mouths.... They are to be pitied and prayed for...not paraded around like some sort of hero

70. Why is it that Christian people who have aged just as anyone are called "names", and people who are pro-gay, etc. are called aging gracefully. Why is that people who are anti-gay are considered evil by pro-gays, yet pro-gays are allowed to have their own views about anything and that is supposedly okay. As for the person who said their God is all-loving and non-judgemental, you need to do a little more reading of the Bible. God is judgemental, it is we who are not supposed to be judges, opinions yes, judges, no. Judgement is God's only. Just because someone, a Christian, is anti-gay does not mean that every anti-gay Christian hates gays. For me, personally, it means I personally do not believe in the lifestyle, yet some of my best friends are gay, and they know my position, and we accept each other for who we are. I get so tired of right wing people believing left wing people are evil, and not entitled to their opinions. It just seems one is okay for one group should be right for another group, opinion wise. As for Anita Bryant, I applaud her for standing up for what she believes, for coming out of her closet so to speak, and not be afraid to stand up. As for her divorce, maybe someone should look back and see what caused the divorce-----there goes the judging again.
