79. Anita is an extremely courageous and loving woman who hates the vile evil of homosexuality as well she should. As a Christian writer, I believe that God hates more than the sin of homosexuals, he actually hates the homosexuals themselves...and so do I. You homosexuals are not only going to the hottest place in hell when you die, hopefully soon and horribly, but are the slime of the entire earth now and unlikely to change except to become even more wicked with time. Those who love homosexuals are God's enemies and will go to hell with them.

80. Since Prop 8 did not pass, it amazes me to see and hear how intolerant of others the gay community is. You SCREAM for equal rights but are so arrogant and prejudice against anyone who opposes you. I was once a sympathizer but from all of this bashing and disrespect of other people's views and opinons I'm not so sure any more. This is America and everyone should be able to speak freely without being tared & feathered for it. Grow up and behave like adults, not school yard bullies.

Anita Bryant is as phony as that three-dollar bill you guys like to equate with some people's sexual preference. I prefer people with open minds and hearts, not closed and hateful. Anita Bryant was never scary, she was never intolerant. Christianity requires that she turn the other cheek when someone hits the first. She did. Now she's an older woman, hopefully with exactly the same beliefs, and is still telling you intolerant fools that she forgives you for your blindness and lack of comprehension of anything she she stood for or said. And forty years later you've still not come to an understanding of what she was saying.

Simply amazing. But, it points out why people are doomed to repeat history. The loudest elements never learn from it - or they never understand why they studied it in the first place.

She was standing up for her beliefs.which we all have a right to do in this country..At least we did!! She was right then and is right today..As for her looks..she looked ok for a 68 year old..How great do you look at your age??

89. Anita forgot the biggest sin of all: HATRED. I do not hate Anita Bryant. I hate her hatred. She had no business masquerading as God in her judgement and hateful attitudes towards gays. She furthermore doesn't realize that homosexuality is NOT a sin! Hatred IS. There is nothing wrong with disliking a sexual practice. If that's the case, DON'T practice it. But when one forces their opinions and wants to legislate them, that's where the line has to be drawn. And, BTW, you cannon "recruit" someone to be a homosexual. How ridiculous!

90. So many keep saying that homosexuality is a "choice"....Can any of these people honestly answer this question: At what point in your life did you make the choice to be heterosexual? Did you say, "Well, I think I'll choose to be hetero"? At what age did this momentous "choice" occur? Many of those tortured souls, including all legitimate psychiatrists/psychologist, would love to know how and when this "choice" can be made available. Wow...and to think that all of you "straight" people had to make a "choice" too....
