Obam-alike Assassinated for Ratings

16. VERY INTRIGUING TOPIC, TMZ! My opinion for what it’s worth:

Yes, I think it is in VERY POOR TASTE to create such an episode.

That being said, I think it is ALSO in VERY POOR TASTE to rip true crimes from the headlines, change a few names for the sake of artistic expression (a.k.a legal protection), then recreate the atrocious crime for television without ever ONCE contacting these REAL victims families. Bad enough a child or loved one’s terrible murder is recreated for television or film without informing the victims family. All this does is make ratings good for tv, but reopens the crime all over again for the victims family left behind without one iota of care of concern the PAIN these victims family’s must endure as a result. The Obama look alike is not the only person this has happened to. Hollywood stealing the murders of loved ones happens EVERY SINGLE DAY in these films and made-for-tv dramas, and there isn’t a damn thing anybody can do about it. It took an Obama look alike to grab peoples attention about this particular tv crime drama, yet EVERY crime show out there is based on a actual crime without so much as the courtesy of informing the victims family.

Hollywood forgets these are REAL people, they couldn’t give a rats azz who it hurts as long as they get ratings or Oscar nominations.

Worth a mention also, I hope not many Obama supporters start crying foul on this one. It only makes them, and the candidate elected look bad, if not worse altogether. Bush has put up with this crap for years. Obama’s not even in the white house yet, and already people are wetting their pants over this one. Get used to it. If you think media coverage of GW Bush was bad enough, you haven’t seen anything yet when Obama steps up to the plate.

18. Amen, tubal and E. Nothing was wrong with the 8 yr assault on Bush and his administration, along with a theatrical movie based on his dreamy assassination but oh,no, better not say 1 cross word against Obama or negative imagery. Hypocrisy to the nth degree.

19. Seriously? This show has been on for how many years, doing the same thing to how many people and NOW it's "in bad taste" to create a sensationalized story for television? You've got to be kidding me. Go cry about it, seriously. Shows like this show women and children being murdered all the time, but this, THIS, is going to be the one that sends all those crazies over the edge. Seriously... I don't think I can stand 4 years of this.

What is so "extraordinary" about Pres-elect Obama? What has he done exactly that makes him so extraordinary, besides winning the election? He has almost no record in the Senate and has been running for a different job for the last 2 yrs practically. I am happy for finally electing a black President but I think I will wait until he has actually been in office for a while before I call him extraordinary.

25. Tasteless? Or maybe a foreteller of what's to come? (I hope not) Tasteless is all the cop shows with extreme violence without consequences. Tasteless is all the self-serving actors award shows. Tasteless is most things on MTV today. A show like this may be unpopular, but no where as likely to influence the nutcases as "Jackass" on MTV or any of the cop shows that show people getting gunned down.

Poor taste is TMZ joyfully reporting on "Nailin Palin", a porn meant to mirror a veep candidate.

Poor taste is anybody willing to attack a woman like that for simply being a woman.

Poor taste is a show called Lil' Bush that does nothing but tastelessly mock a sitting president and his cabinet.

Poor taste is the media bashing Sarah Palin for being a normal human being and attacking her family at every angle.

Poor taste is the media's coverage of the election all together. Obama did not WIN the election, it was stolen, by the media, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and ACORN. As far as a majority of American's are concerned he is nobody's president. He is not even a natural born citizen. He is fair game. Anybody daring enough to put up the investigations that will come from making fun of him, deserves to make a dime doing it.
