Move over Kyra Sedgwick, there's a new closer in town.

Sarah Palin, the Britney Spears of politics, has been recruited to help campaign in the Georgia Senate runoff between Republican Sen. Saxby Chambliss and Jim Martin.

The red elephants are looking to bank on Palin's pop star appeal to rally the low number of voters who turn out for these runoffs. The Governator of Caleeefornia used to be the go to guy....we're guessing flying commando may have made it problematical in Georgia.

Palin will hit four spots today in the Peach State -- but don't worry, no turkeys will be harmed in the process.

The Republican Party is obviously still locked in STUPIDITY, still controlled by the neocon far right freaks who have nothing in the way of competence to offer, so they want to DUMB DOWN people and offer up Sarah Palin as the lead cheerleader for the cause of providing a mass dumb-down parade through Georgia.

20. the folks expressing their palin derangement syndrome say a lot more about themselves than they do about her. sarah has the highest approval rating of any governor in the country.. she's accomplished great things for alaskans and the lower 48. funny how it's the people who think they are the most liberal and accepting who cannot deal with someone else's dialect or lifestyle and are so easily influenced by a media caricature of someone like sarah, who is the embodiment of independence and what feminism was supposed to be about.

22. So who is raising her special needs baby? Her pregnant teen daughter or the little 8yr old who struggled through the VP debates while mom and dad and two older sisters went around shaking hands and winking at people?

And to Idaho Potato, get your spud out of the sand already... the media didn't twist anyting WE all saw her for ourselves, we all watched her struggle with and avoid almost every direct question the woman was asked in the last few months. Don't try and blame the media for this woman being a ninny. She's loving the lime light AND she herself can't get enough of the media.

Here's some more confusing quotes. I'll let you all guess who said them. (Hint: it's wasn't Palin.)

Oh, and the best way to know how people in Alaska feel about their governer is to ask THEM, not to read a biases opinion on a blog site. Last I heard, at least 80% support her. I'm sure you can find one or two from the 20% to quote in your reply.

27. Sarah is so stupid. I've never seen a politician not able to do interviews or say "Umm, let me get back to you on that." She is so far out of her league and needs to go back to being the governor of Alaska and shooting moose. Then she went and did another interview, this time with turkeys being slaughtered right behind her. She didn't her all the commotion??? "Ooops! She did it again...
