She's Like Arnold... With Underwear

Move over Kyra Sedgwick, there's a new closer in town.

Sarah Palin, the Britney Spears of politics, has been recruited to help campaign in the Georgia Senate runoff between Republican Sen. Saxby Chambliss and Jim Martin.

The red elephants are looking to bank on Palin's pop star appeal to rally the low number of voters who turn out for these runoffs. The Governator of Caleeefornia used to be the go to guy....we're guessing flying commando may have made it problematical in Georgia.

Palin will hit four spots today in the Peach State -- but don't worry, no turkeys will be harmed in the process.

76. ark - you are only disappointed because your Sarah Palin blow up doll hasn't arrived in the mail yet.

77. Bye bye bushie

No, ark is just another bore with a blank mind, and nothing factual or interesting to say.

78. I ordered the Sarah Palin blow up doll but with the optional Shauna Sand lips, so it takes a little longer. How have you been doing with your Bushie blow up penis and cream dispenser? Don't forget to brush your teeth between uses.

I know you're very busy providing 'factual or interesting' thoughts to your alter egos. You may now resume writing to (and agreeing with) yourself.

79. I get why the Palin blow up doll is funny, because she is every creepy Christian man's fantasy, but the Bushie penis just isn't a joke...not funny, it's not like he is anyone's fantasy. Oh poor ark, he is just not as clever as he thinks he is.

80. If nothing else, at least thank President George Bush for keeping us safe the past seven years. Remember this post when the next big hit against the U.S. happens in 2009 or soon after. Laugh away, but as far as I'm concerned being alive out ranks the economy. That's really the only purpose of government, to keep citizens safe, the rest is just extra. The word 'life' wasn't place first as in "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness" by mistake. That's the number one purpose. Keep us alive. To that I tip my hat to Bush and the U.S. military (and keep my fingers crossed for Obama).

While thousands and thousands have died around the world from Islamic extremists, we eat popcorn and watch it all on TV. Slowly the world understands. India finally gets it after more than 100 people died last week in Mumbai.

Any way, back to topic, Palin is a good person. Have you noticed her detractors only talk about her looks, her family, her clothes, her intelligence, her accent, her regional speech… everything exact her political views which is the only thing we should be debating. She lives her beliefs. And that takes a strong woman.

81. Regarding 51: "The province of Quebec has a Premier – NOT a Prime Minister in the same sense although the name of the title is interchangeable."
Right... the term IS interchangeable. Argue with Wikipedia. So, the time you fell for a practical joke proves that you are forever ignorant? Remember that time in grade school? Remember that time at work with that other employee who didn't like you? That was funny as well. Did you get the verbatim transcript for those two? Now that was funny! Yep, that was YOUR defining moment.

We are not robots. We all have different thoughts. Why is it sooooooooo important to demean us and our opinions? Back off and take a valium or two. The world is going to be alright even if many in the U.S. like and appreciate Sarah Palin. Isn't it a bit telling that all those who think differently then you do are stupid, while those who bark off the same opinion as you are intelligent? It's Nazi-like thought and a lousy way to live.

Go join something and make the world a better place. Live what you believe, and stop degrading others who already do.

We have "gotten it" for years in India. Decades actually. We have already experienced worse terrorist attacks in the past. And irrespective of that fact, our government hasn't taken an "everyone is either for us or against us" stance, and they didn't decide to invade a country that had nothing to do with those terrorist attacks and lie to us, their citizens, about that country's culpability.

83. Idaho potato thinks that just being alive is way better than the economy tanking. He and Palin DO have the same IQ. Poor potato, just another victim of Republican fear mongering - I hope you're taking some anti anxiety meds for that.
PS - you wouldn't have to be so afraid if Cheney and Bush hadn't pissed off pretty much every other country around the world and made even MORE terrorists to scare you.

84. This Palin fetish has now got to be one of the great wonders of the world. It's all over people. Nothing to see here. Go back to your houses. And nice Indian accent. It was almost convincing.

85. I think there may be an element of confession in all of your blithering.

86. ark - for somone who says it is over and we should all move along, you seem more facinated by her than anyone else posting here. Always checking in to leave a smarmy, yet irrelevant comment. I don't see you going anywhere.
I will admit she is fun to watch. The fact that she is such a joke and yet has fans who worship her and wanted to put her a heartbeat away from the presidency is amazing and scary. I can't wait to see how she screws up next!! Then those of us with some common sense can poke fun and laugh at her - great entertainment - almost as much fun as reading the comments of those fools trying to defend her over and over and over and over and over again.

87. To Idaho Potato;

You might actually read in order to sound a little less ignorant, and not quite so babbling. There are a number of posts here who point out exactly why many of us are not a fan of Palin's. These comments have nothing to do with her looks, family, or clothing.

And #51 was correct; or didn't you bother to read that transcript of the phone call with the fake Sarkozy either? You are the kind of person who lives in a world of ignorance because you don't want to be bothered with facts. Heaven forbid that you'd actually have to think. Grow up.

88. I Can't go with smarmy, I don't think it's accurate. You may want to come up with some other term. Irrelevant? Maybe. Sometimes. But you then used describing my comments as irrelevant as a lead-in to your comments that were....irrelevant. Now that's fascinating.

The comments Wait.......I'll play along......

Kits - The comments made to Idaho Potato were because of a view that the world will be alright and we can all do something to make the world a better place?

It is over, unless you want to end up on The History Channel with the Japanese soldiers who holed up in caves for 50 years believing they were still at war.

89. You should all try to not insult people for one day... one little old day. Think you can do it? Insulting others is a lack of value and belief in one's self. It mirrors your feelings of your own worth. Think positive for a change. Your change, that is.

Look out, here comes the "you're so stupid" insults. Oh, so mature. OK, let's all sing, "Spring time for Hitler and Germany" and everyone goose step to the beat. Nazi-like thoughts produce Nazi-like actions. Exterminate those who are not exactly like you.

And remember what Dumbo's mother said, if you can't say anything nice about a person, shut up (or something along those lines).

We get it, you don't like Palin. But what really burns your butt, is others DO like her. She is in your brain, oh yeah, chomping on your cerebellum, and will be there for the next four years. Ah, revenge is sweet.

90. >"We have "gotten it" for years in India."< If you really are from India, try looking to your country's left or west. There is your problem. Radical Islam in all of its full glory. Peace-loving Muslims in several large cities in India (Mumbai, Delhi, etc.) are holding an anti-terrorism rally (first time ever, anywhere!) on 8 December, for they now 'get it' and will stand for no more.

Oh oh, I hope this last post of mine doesn't mean it's time for some to repeat the mantra... "Bush lied, hundreds died." And who lied before Bush? Clinton? What about Germany? The U.K.? Israel? Or maybe it was Jordan? Don't forget the U.N.! Remember the Security Council's resolution 678? Probably not. The whole world believed before it BEFORE Bush took office in 2001, but Bush is your boogieman. What will surprise many is many in the world hated the U.S. before Bush, and will continue to hate the U.S. after, under the Obama administration. It's the core values that are hated and what they represent, not the men who come and go every four to eight years.

The whole world doesn't hate the U.S. by the way. France has risen again to be one of our best allies, thanks to President Sarkozy. Others are there too, if you look and see.
