Tina Fey -- So That's Where the Scar's From

Tina Fey is finally talking about where that scar on her cheek came from -- and it's anything but funny.

She's never told anyone how she got it, but in Vanity Fair, Fey and hubby Jeff Richmond say it was the result of a "mystery slashing incident" which happened when she was five. "It was in, like the front yard of her house, and somebody just came up, and she just thought somebody marked her with a pen."

"It's impossible to talk about it without somehow seemingly exploiting it," says Fey.

16. ckitty if you are going to comment on people not spelling a word correctly... get it right. While it is mis-spelled, it's not because they can't spell "about", it's because the i is between the o and the u on the keyboard. So, technically your criticism of implying they are stupid because they cannot spell is entirely off the mark. However, they can be criticized for not proofreading or using spellcheck. I suppose you have never had a typo, but if you did, according to your rules... you are an idiot.

17. I'm sorry, I don't get it. It's not that I don't believe it, I do. But, I just don't understand. This tiny bit of information is really confusing. Better she had said nothing at all. She should have told the full story, or nothing at all.

Of course, it is her business and she, alone, is the one to choose how much information, if any, to reveal. I just find this tiny bit of information to be very confusing - that she would say this and not provide some type of clarification as to what she was saying since it is such a troubling revelation.

I am very sorry that she was victimized as a child. While I am not a fan of her politics, I think she is a talented comedy writer. She seems to be a nice person and I am saddened to hear that she suffered an injury. God's blessings to her.

18. BTW, OMG... Tina Fey a SNL has been huh? LOL, you goof, she has one of the top rated TV shows on the air right now (30 Rock). She has that "it" factor, a beautifully creepy smily face that most everyone loves. You obviously have been living in Karl Malden's cave... you prolly do not get that pop reference either. Go back in and hymbernate.

20. I can't stand this woman. I find unattractive and not funny at all.

I feel bad for about the scare. I won't be mean to her like she was to Sarah and others. She is just rude and crude.

21. Joan I don't get it either. Don't you think that if she came out about the scar finally she would tell enough detail so people understand how it really got there?

23. Everyone who keeps saying she came out with the story is a completely incompetent moron. It clearly states that her HUSBAND came out with the story, NOT her. Also, unless I'm mistaken, which I don't believe I am, and you read the entire article, this information was disclosed when the interviewer was with her husband and Fey wasn't even around. Gosh, you people just make stuff up. Morons.
