Balfour Charged in Hudson Murders

The Cook County state's attorney's office has just officially charged William Balfour with the murders of Jennifer Hudson's mother, brother and nephew.

He's been charged with three counts of first degree murder and one count of home invasion.

Balfour is scheduled for a bond hearing at noon Central time tomorrow.

UPDATE 4:21 ET: In their presser, which just ended, the State's Attorney and cops said they're "confident" about their case, which some unnamed sources have claimed is "mainly circumstantial." They said they do have physical evidence tying Balfour to the scene, and emphasized they did not cut a deal with Balfour's girlfriend to elicit her testimony.

17. Did anyone watch Nancy Grace? They said Jason Hudson's rap sheet was too long to be faxed, that the thing is a book. Sounds like a thug that ran with bad people. Could have been anyone that committed this crime. I don't believe Balfour did it. The police just want this high profile case closed and Balfour is an easy target.

What a HORRIBLE thing to say! Julia made a mistake being with this guy and she has paid the ultimate price for it. But that does NOT give you the right to make such UGLY and VILE remarks! 20. So sorry for Jennifer Hudson and the little nephew. I don't feel sorry for the mother Julia. She was stupid enough to put this child in this bad company. Just look who is the nephew's father. Something just do not add up. There is much more to this story. The FBI need to interview the mother of the little boy, Julia to see what she knows and her involvement. She is being shielded by Jennifer Hudson. I just pray they get the right folks involved.

What that creature deserves is to be thrown to the crowds in Chicago, fry in the electric char, be burned at the stake, maybe put him a cell with Michael Clarke Duncan for a short while (that'll be all it would take)., let a few police dogs have a go at him. 23. prettyone~ I doubt very seriously that Jennifer is shielding anyone from talking to the police of the FBI. Trust when I tell you that if they want to talk to someone they do! It sounds to me as though Jennifer's brother was very heavily involved in drugs and or selling them from his mother's home. There was NO forced entry into the house so, that means it was somone that they knew. There has some evidence against Balfour for them to charge him with three counts of muder!

Did you see the picture of Him and Jennifer as she was holding the OSCAR, this low life mf'er needs to be fried alive, then place him in jail so the fellas can finish the job.
