Britney -- Abs-olutely Perfect

What Britney lacked in dance moves on "Good Morning America," she definitely made up for in the ab department.

Spears brought her now infamous "Womanizer" strutting/arm-flailing routine to a new song, "Circus" but her stomach made for quite the distraction.

Another welcome distraction -- the birthday girl's fam, who sat in the second row.

106. Why does MTV give Britney Spears awards and waste airtime by having her perform? Seriously...anyone who says she has talent, stemming from this video or any other, has complete blinders on. Music producers make her music and tweak her voice. Choreographers practice dance moves with her...which yes people...can be taught to anyone. Even a 4 year old. And she usually slaughters or makes a fool of herself. Pathetic, un-unique, and most of all, untalented. Challenge for Britney: Sing one of Alicia Keys songs (which she wrote herself) ACAPELLA. Then iminate one of Janet Jackson's dance videos...freestyle. No wonder they created American Idol. Talented people deserve millions, not Britney. Until the media get over this popwreck....she can keep showing the world how much talent she doesn't have.

107. 104. 100. ...
What I am finding sad is the absolute nastiness in people, who make fun of someone's mental health issues when they are trying to get better. ... I find it truly sad that people go on the attack when someone suffers from a mental illness, and think that it is funny. Would you do the same of someone suffering from diabetes or cancer? ... My daughter is deeply affected by her illness, however, with the medications she is a different child, better able to cope in a world that clearly discriminates and mocks who she is...a child with a mental illness. ... As for my daughter, I am hoping that while Britney is well, she can serve as a beacon of hope that even when things hit rock bottom, there is hope of a return to normalm and an understanding that she is not alone, that even people who are rich and famous can be afflicted with this, and just like everyone else, are subject to the cruelty and insensitivity that comes with it. Britney, I wish you well in your recovery and ongoing treatment!

I feel for you and especially for your daughter, and I applaud you for coming here and expressing this. Perhaps you will help a few people here realize how misguided they are in attacking Britney because of her illness. God bless you and your daughter.

Sadly, I fear that most of the people here who really need to hear your message are too childish, small-hearted, and cruel to learn anything or to improve their attitude

I would like to applaud you too...and couldnt agree more...too bad many people cant understand how much damage even just a little deppression can make....sometimes its hard to understand what somebody else is going through because that person is not you or a member of your family...britney spears is just like anybody else excepts for the fact that she hasnt got the chance to have a normal childhood and make mistakes for herself...did she even have the option?...i dont know that...do you?....my point is that you guys shouldnt think about how rude youre being...shes starting to give herself a chance to grow after all those dark and sad moments....it shouldnt be easy to see yourself everyday and see a woman who have lost everything just because of the way she handled her problems....its not good to hear all those hateful comments when youre trying to get back your life and she decided to go back to the spotlight was because probably she feels that its a way out from everyone...either way if you hate her dont waste time writting hateful comments ...go and check your favorite bands or singer....just think that what happened to her could happen to anyone....even when you have a little deppression...that little deppression takes confidence, strength and passion away from you...when youre not confident enough you wont be able to put out a show because simply you are still trying to believe in yourself...its not easy to grow confidence from nowhere...only constructive criticism and passion can help...p.s:life is too short to give up maybe thats why shes trying to gain what she had.

111. I can't believe some of you were watching the same thing I was...she was lip synching (badly at that) and looked quite awkward as she moved around the stage. Why on earth people would pay good money to go see her is beyond me...

I got the teeny bopper thing, but adults? Learn to appreciate real music from REAL musicians and artists that write and perform their own stuff instead of lip synching their way through their careers.

112. I think Britney looks great.....What an improvement since January. I don't care if you don't like her music or her talent or her mothering skill, if you can't be happy for a human that is climbing out of the depths of despair that she experienced, then you are heartless, It almost brought me to tears to see how much she has improved. Those of you who haven't not experienced mental illness of any type, either personally or with a family member or friend, then you have not business being so harsh to her.

Happy Birthday, Britney....Keep up the recovery!

113. 78. My favorite part was when Diane Sawyer said "I'd love to sit down and talk to her, but not today, today it's all about the music."
Hmmmmmm. Then at the end of her 'performance' Diane asks her where her tour is going to start, and what does Britney answer, "Huh, where?" ..."America".

Yeah, that's why there was no interview.
______________________________________________________________________________________________
If you watched the rest of the comment, it was loud in there and she couldn't hear....Diane Sawyer said as much.....that might explain the response Britney gave when asked about where the tour was starting....

Wow, you really told her off and showed us all what a big, respectable man you are.

I'm not in favor of violence and Fuzzy-Cuddly went way over the top. But I'm sure these sc;um like Bill Bo are afraid of someone reacting physicly to them and that's why these cowards write their messgaes anonimously. They'd dirty their shorts if someone forced them to admit face-to face to Brit and her family that their writing death wishes and other disgusting garb age here.

115. I watched. On a scale of 1-10 for her dancing. Germany (2) Paris (3) London (4) NYC (6) she needs to take the time to get her nerve back. Poor cow. Im rooting for her.

116. Oh please.

The only difference between last year's VMA awards and today on GMA is about 25 pounds.

The routine was just as lethargic as the VMAs, and how come no one's commenting on her stumbling and tripping over her own feet half the time, especially in the beginning?

DeLUUUUUUUUUUUUUsioalllllllllllllllllllllllll lol

117. You're right, TheThingsWeSee. There's no need for her to lip sync anymore if she's not going to dance up a storm. The supposed reason why she mimed her whole career was so she could tear up the floor with her dancing, but since she doesn't do that anymore, why is she NOT singling live? Geezus, Britney, do something new and give your delusional fans a live show for once.

118. I think Britney was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. She deserves to have happiness and peace in her life. She has worked very hard and will teach a lot of people that it is possible to come back from the impossible. She fell but she got right back up while the whole world was watching and proved not only to herself but to a lot of people that it is possible to get back up and do it again and this time people watch out because she is has came back and will be on top for years to come. She is going to be inspiring to so many girls (women out there) you watch!!!!!!!!!! Go BRITNEY!!! You did it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Happy Birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

120. JULIE: Are you completely delushional??!!?? Britney will not teach people to come back from the impossible. What the hell has she done? Showed the world how trashy and irresponsible one young woman can be? Guess what honey, there are hundreds, maybe even thousands of women who can bring them selves out of a sh*thole to be the best they can be for their children. Britney only proved to the world that even untalented people can make millions by having music producers and choreographers work hard for her. If you call this performance being back on top then you should take a close look at maybe Christina Aguilera singing 'Beautiful' acapella or Alicia Keys performing 'A woman's Worth' and ask your self how Britney's 'Womanizer' lipsynching, stumbling routine measures up. She is not inspiring to little girls, but a disgrace!!
